I was a teenager when he played and me and my mates thought he was a bit of a cult figure. What happened to him?

Good idea, we can have a good laugh.......any other come to mind that would be worthy?Looks like this off-season we'll be reminiscing heavily on 90's players.
I remember him but I wouldn't have been a teenager. Around 8 or 9 or so. I think he was a bit of a cult figure but he wouldn't have played any more than 100 games surely?
Had a bit of size about him though.
That's all I can remember.

Went by way of the Balwyn tigers were alot of ex-tigers go after their afl life. Its kinda like how elephants have this sacred place where they go when the end is near.
IIRC he made a South Australian State of Origin side too didnt he?
My Godfather's son, Jason Taylor, who played for Fitzroy, Hawthorn and Collingwood also spent a lot of time at Balwyn. They had a whole bunch of 1990's ex-AFL players for a while there. Anthony Condon was another one I believe.
By the way, I have a signed Johnny Howatt guernsey. I bought it after the ressies won the 1997 grand final. I have also got a signed Jason Ramsey jumper (I thought he was gonna make it!)
See, I remember Ross Funcke but not the way he played. Was he just a flanker?
I was a Clay Sampson fan for his short time at the club. I know that's more late 90's but still. Thought he could be a good player. Always got excited when we got new players from the trade periods.
Aaron James, again late 90's, never really liked the way he player too much. Didn't really have a position.
Was a fan of Ashley Prescott too. Serviced the club well, I thought.
Trying to think of those we haven't talked about in a while (aka not Rory Hilton and Razor Hall).
There's a beauty, Mark McQueen.....Got a coupla Tassie couldabeens if anyone remembers the names, Gilmour, Plapp, McQueen and Klug in decending chronological order of course!!
Hahaha yes I remember that! Classic... He actually ended up getting a job at channel 9 in the props department.I can remember an ad in the 'Fighting Tiger' saying 'Paul Bulluss is looking for a job! Experienced in retail, bar work... Anything!'
And this was when he was playing!
While on reminiscing, i'm pretty sure that Stuart Wigney ended up working at Olympic Dam or something.
He could play a bit old Steve McQueen... Had terrible hamstrings IIRC.There's a beauty, Mark McQueen.....
