It depends on the coach. I hear what ur saying but we only have a month and a half til the season starts, it would be great to get familiar coaches from friendly leagues who would be good with either points or category scoring. But yes if someone comes in and assumes were going to afl fantasy then we'd of course wait to see what happens. Hopefully UF give us an answer one way or the other soon so we can get on with it.

Sweet! Well i assume theyre doing this with the intention of building out AFL Fantasy with cat scoring for 2024. Not like its hard to do when you have the backing of the AFL. So with some luck well have a smooth transition next year.

We have 2 open teams, if you fancy playing 1 year and then reassessing that's cool, i do have a preference for some competant new coaches so you are welcome to a team if you want, but up to you mate.

Yeah mate were entering into year 7 or 8 now, theres no plans in the future to introduce any expansion teams as it would leave the talent in the free agency pool too slim. So yes an established team, there are two free, first person in gets to choose which they want. Teams finished 9th and 12th so theres certainly plenty to do though neither team is totally bereft of talent...
It has been 5 f.a throughout the year in the past though it was increased to 10 with the uncertainty of covid. Not sure which were doing this year but personally i prefer 10. Draft is slow online draft over a couple of weeks, generally around half a day to pick early on (90% of picks dont take anywhere near that long of course but its important people dont miss their picks so i like to give them time) and then ill shorten picks if were running out of time.
