Well that's just great. I have all four cats that are injured in my supercoach team, and I don't know whether to be happy they are out for the Lions' sake or sad for my super coach team. Add to that Nathan Brown, Rhan Hooper and Yarran, and I can't field a full team. I guess that will teach me to trade early in the week. :(

CH10 said it was an ACL. Idk, I guess you'll have to wait for confirmation. Brisbane medical staff thought it was an ACL too but have not had confirmation.

Don't worry, I got no trades left and I have Adcock :(

Is Jack Redden likely to hold his spot for the rest of the year?

Hard to say after only one outing. I wouldn't bet on it, although Voss seems to like giving the kids at least 2-3 weeks to see how they adapt.

Any chance of Travis Johnstone getting a game, or are his days numbered? I saw him play a couple of times this year and he looked ok to me.

Would doubt it this week. Reckon he'll spend another week in the twos. If he racks up another 50 possession in the QAFL then you'd think he'd come back, although it;s not about how much ball he gets, it the manner in which he gets it and if he runds hard the other way.

Oh wondrous mono-brow, do you see young Pearce Hanley coming in as a run and carry replacement for poor Jed? I read he “runs fast and kicks long” and at 185cms 85kgs is actually slightly taller and heavier than Jed. His SC$196k might frighten a few off but if he gets the job done [of course if elevated/selected] in his first couple of games – thoughts? ;)

I'm looking at bringing in Mitch Clark (Dreamteam) to replace Dean Cox with one of my final trades. Mitch is obviously having a breakout year, is constantly improving and with the Lions pressing for finals/top 4, he's less likely to be "rested", unlike some of the alternatives.

My question is about his ability to run out the season and/or the likelihood of him being rested or preserved through less TOG. He looks pretty fit and think he even played on the wing early in the season, which augurs well.

I believe he had a quad (?) injury/niggle 4-6 weeks ago, although he didn't miss a game. Is he 100% over that? Any other whispers I should take into consideration?

Thanks in advance.

Mitch is basically only on the improve. Considering Fraser and Sandilands are both out of the possible trade equation for Coxy, Mitch would seem the obvious option. I have no doubt he will continue to put up respectable scores until round 22. With Brennan back this week, Mitch will also be able to have a bit more rest which sould preserve the body a bit better. I'd definitely recommend you get him over Petrie or any other options.

Can anyone tell me how Redden's job security is looking ATM??

My other mid emergency isn't playing, so i need someone who will both score well and continue to get a game. ATM he's got the first part covered, will he continue to get a game you reckon??

Troy Selwood is back from injury and playing in the reserves this weekend. He would be the guy breathing down Redden's neck at this stage.

Gday guys, with bl00dy St Kildas team selection this week im in a bit of trouble (as most prob are). Just need a bit of info on Brennen.

With just 1 trade left i can get rid of Walker for Brennan meaning next week when Riewoldt comes back i will have cover in all areas of the bench to cover for any future injuries.

This is more of a back up trade cause Walker is playing this week but ive got Callum Wilson (WCE) on the ground this week who will then move to the bench next week.

Im just a bit concerned about Brennans ankle, didnt seem to have a great game last week, does he still have a bit of an ankle injury lingering? Or should i make the trade banking on him playing the remainder of the home and away season?

Thanks

Sorry just a quick one. I saw Drummond go down in a contest against Thomas on the weekend. His knee looked sore at the time, i can't remember, did he play out the rest of the game?

Looking at trading him in this week, just want to be 100% sure about it! Cheers.

Hawks would be a chance i would say. He is now taking Adock's spot. Only other competition for that spot is Collier and Hanley, and they are both currently injured. It is a hard one though, its possible that he could lose his spot with a reshuffle elsewhere though. A bit risky, but the spot is his for the taking
