i told my missus to trade out taylor walker for buddy this week since walker 115 was gonna drop off. That didn't quite work out either!

I've had "two-fathers" from the outset and used him a few times off the "emergency" bench to good effect.

Then before the last round, Zeibell came back and I agonised over which of them to play in the 22.

Gave Zeibs the nod with TW an emergency.

Bad choice

Now I've got the same dilemna again this week.

Was just wondering what your guys thoughts on Lachie Henderson were. With Chad out for a while I'm hoping to downgrade to a cheaper back, but with all the other backline issues this year I need one that will play for the rest of the season. I haven't seen him play this year so can't really tell how he is travelling. Just looking for someone who may not set the world on fire but will be a steady 50-60 (SC) a week. Also, having only played two games, I was wondering if he was out for form or injury?

Only got 5 trades left, largely because of the stupid First game of the season starting on a Thursday night and the Round 1 team lists not coming out until about 2 hours before "Lockout" that night.

I found it impossible to log in to the site to adjust my team....seems that the system gets completely log-jammed with every man and his dog trying to do the same thing in a very small window of time.

Found myself 3 short for the first round and took me till Round 3 to get 22 players up and runniing.

I think this is a definite flaw with DT, in that it becomes somewhat of a lottery as to whether you can get a full playing list happening from Round 1.

If not, you're under the pump from the outset.

1918......... and that was with Rioli scoring 16 in the first 7 minutes and then doing his hammy, having to use Rance(40) as a sub for Gilbert (averaging 90+) and also having to use Taylor Walker(31) as an emergency for Zeibell.

And don't talk to me about Pendelbury....my run in the DT Eliminator came to an end(narrowly) thanks to him having a career best game (score 147)

Time to take stock, recharge the batteries, iron out those little niggles and do a mid-season review complete with plenty of soul-searching and taking a good, hard look at myself in the mirror

This is only my first season, never really got into it before this year, now i think i'm too into it.

Didn't do so well this week, dropped about 400 rankings, old mate drummo copped me a 0 but that was the least of my worries, was just spewing we now have near on no backline structure. Especially since we got buddy and roughy this week!

Hopefully can get into the top 1000 by the end of the year!

The club says yes. The only query is his injury history - they might go ultra-cautious and let him have a week or two more. I wouldn't trade him out though.

I try to have 2 trades left for finals and hope for luck,so between 6 and 8 at this time of year is pretty normal although I know alot guys in the Serie A league have blown most of them already.
