Yet Carlton won that game. I don't think too many (if any) games are won by teams being second to the ball & given that Carlton laid 51 tackles to 39 in that match, it reflected more on the pressure applied by Carlton & in particular Gibbs, than being anything to do with being second to the ball. I suppose Collingwood's 85 tackles in the massive win over Geelong was all about Collingwood being second to the ball for the whole game.
