That is one of the ugliest stadiums I have seen. Right up there with Wellington.

Incredibly ugly. It's a dog's water bowl. No character to the outside of it, just round.

Well I mean it's no Lord's or SCG but any stadium built from the foundations up as a stadium and not an upgraded park-ground-stadium is going to look somewhat like this. Character will be added on ground level for the people walking in, not at chopper/drone level for the flyover.

Hopefully it will be better than the other two grounds that are falling apart. Although i do like what Subi has done inside the rooms. Looks fresh and awesome. They just need to upgrade the seating and the toilets which i heard were pretty ordinary.

Look m8 nothing will top Subi, what with the concrete seats, the 4 smelly dunnies, shit food and watered down beer.
And the queues dont forget the endless queues for every thing
I can't wait for the new stadium to be finished, then I will go to a game there before I shoot my gob off.

So what would make the architecture acceptable? Gothic windows? Classical colonnade with a WAFL inspired frieze? Gargoyles?
Its a purpose built engineering before arctitecture type of structure... and i think they have done an excellent job of sprucing it up in a contemporary and minimalist style.
