Wow just heard the news and can't believe it.

RIP Phil, condolences to his family and AFC, what a tragic loss.

RIP Phil Walsh. Good blokes don't deserve an end like that, but sadly life isn't always fair.

The magnatude if this surpasses just AFC. Issues around domestic violence, mental health, possible drug use, it goes on.
There will hundreds of people within the AFL community that he had alot to do with him that will be crushed. His daughter, his wife...
God I just dont know.
This club appears cursed.

He didnt deserve this. I was stoked when I heard that he was our coach. He was the one I wanted. He was starting to find his mojo I though. That first game against North was his masterpeice. That was his potential, thats what he wanted to create.
Tonight I will "try" to watch that game again.

Our club has taken so many hits in the last few years, and lets not forget the potential death of Radar earlier.
I just dont know anymore.

Its puts the spotlight on a lot of things.
sadly, none of it positve.

mass cancellations, postponements etc simply means that adversity triumphs over spirit and strength. This could be the making of the club - redefining its strength of character...if we let it.

Enough of this silver lining bullshit. There is nothing positive to come out of this.

It is awful as a fan ehen this sort of thing happens to one of your own. We really do have so much invested in our sporting heroes, and it hurts like hell when this happens to one of them.

Thoughts obviously with the family and the club, but also to you Crows fans.

RIP Phil Walsh

Shocking news. Tragic and devastating.

I don't know the man, never met him, but he came across as a coach and a man that any club would love to have in their side.

I know he was a man that lived and breathed football. Without wanting to rush into conclusions, I'm confident that he would want Sunday's game to go ahead and the Crows to smash the Cats. You just know that he would want it. It's unfortunate news and I suppose the only way I can put it is, it's just ****ing shit. Nobody deserves this :(.

Tom Chadwick just tweeted a minute ago that his son has been officially charged with the murder

Shit. I would normally have something more eloquent to say but that is completely ****ed for his Wife and daughter. I guess they will have plenty of friends though between the Adelaide/Port teams.

You know, you see Walshy and you think "this man has got his shit together". You just think this incident could never happen to him. As a father, I could just not imagine how my son could do this. Its sureal. If this can happen to a man like him, it can happen to anyone.

Fagan and Chapman to front the media around 2:30 today, assuming it will be pretty emotional.

Can't even imagine what the point of that is. As if they are going to take any questions. Maybe just a short statement. Up to the AFL to advise what is happening regarding the game.
