Oh and the best drive of the season by far to kill the game. Pounded it down their throat over and over.

Apparently the Wentz screen fake / run play wasnt a designed play- Carson saw a defender in the lane and took off to get behind the blocks. Pretty spectacular improvising (though I really never ever want to see him doing that jump / get hit in the air thing ever again- I thought we spoke about this after that Rams game Carson.)

Must beat Chicago and then at least split NE-Seattle games. Will be in a good position to go on a bit of a run if 6-5 at that stage with an easy schedule coming up after that (Miami, NYG x 2, Washington and Dallas)

I wouldnt want to rely on it, and I'm not taking anything for granted with this team (for example who'd have thought we'd drop a game to the Lions), but we can drop two of Chi, NE, Seattle and Dallas and still feasibly go 10-6.

The big Sanders run was an interesting piece of coaching, coming from the two RB set.

Fantastic lead block by Howard. I do wonder whether part of it / the success involved the decision making being made simpler for Sanders-i.e. follow Howard through the gap rather than picking the right one (which he's struggled with).

Doubt 10-6 will win the division losing tiebreaker to Dallas and no wildcard is getting in with less than 11-5 in NFC this year

Not sure Dallas are even a sure bet to get to 10-6. Their run home far harder than ours- and they did lose to the Jets.

Their blow out of us means they deserve to consider themselves better- but they won't have many games where the opposition fumbles twice on their first two possessions.

I'll never really understand what happened to Agholor after the superbowl year, when he looked like he'd finally found it.

The production from non Alshon receivers the last month or two has been downright frightening. Hollins has started four games without a catch.

Bummer. Sounds like Jackson will be back this week, but for how long.

Dunno if it's season over just yet but with these WR stats, unless Jackson comes in & stays in, somehow the shitty defence has become a side issue. Cant rely on the TE's & RB's to carry these sad bitches every game.

Nelson Agholor: 285 snaps, 11 recs, 93 yards (8.5 average), 0 TD, 1 fumble

Alshon Jeffery: 282 snaps, 25 recs, 268 yards (10.7 average), 2 TD

Mack Hollins: 182 snaps, 1 recs, 13 yards, 0 TD

JJ Arcega-Whiteside: 29 snaps, 0 recs, 0 yards, 0 TD

To be fair to Alshon, with those three out there with him the opposing D can put their #1 CB on him plus have a safety defending over the top of LB helping inside because they don't need to worry about the other 3 hurting them.

Yeah bit harsh on Alshon & it looked to me he was playing hurt last week, looks like a shoulder, but the numbers are what they are.

Just watched the last half of the game finally.
I love how Howard runs!
Thought I’d was a pretty reasonable outing considering the outs.
the passing game is really disappointing at the moment but when you have Alshon, Eartz, Goedert & Jackson coming back.. there is enough there to be encouraged for a decent run in the home stretch.

more Howard please

& how was the Howard block to setup Sanders for his TD run, had a great game.

Beast! he is one of those guys who is not scared... at all.
very interesting 2 back set. Playing the inside nearly all game, it was a great wrinkle as Buffalo still had to look for & I presume a screen pass but it was simple pounded down their throats.
great play!
