Finding that the Eagles aren’t very well liked by opposition supporters (much like the West Coast Eagles 😬) what’s the go there?? Some history with other specific teams? I’m only newish to the NFL and haven’t come across oppo supporters much before. Just reading through the divisional thread, seems like there’s a fair bit of angst towards the Eagles.

Yeah look, it's kind of like if Richmond and Collingwood supporters bred and the offspring were raised in a cold city in Yank-land.

End result is the best of the best, exhibit A:

We throw snow balls at Santa one time🤣.

I did laugh yesterday when the sticks chain broke & the crowd booed the sticks crew.

Haven't had time to watch it yet but the box score doesn't scare me much;)
Thought both defenses played well but the Cowboys will be the Cowboys, said it all year and then Dak goes out and shits himself again on the big stage along with two stupid mistakes by the Cowboys late. Then of course the legendary play at the end.

Dak was a running back in last years match up, this time Elliott was a center. You just can't make this shit up.

Looking forward to the replay;)

The Eagles are making their 8th NFC Championship Game since the merger. They will be playing their 8th straight different opponent....

Cowboys 1980
Rams 2001
Buccaneers 2002
Panthers 2003
Falcons 2004
Cardinals 2008
Vikings 2017
49ers 2022

The SF D looked alright but realistically, they were stopping Lamb. Especially when Pollard went down, the Cowboys offensive stocks are pretty ordinary. Won't have that luxury against us.

Think the key might be to get out in front early. If Purdy is forced to throw, it should play right into our hands. If he's allowed to hand it off all game, it'll make it so much harder.

Can we get to him early and disrupt the timing like Dallas did. REDDICK TIME

The thing about surprising results is that it's hard to imagine them before they actually happen.

2018 NFCCG for example, it was unthinkable that the all conquering Vikings would get smashed by Philly. I mean they had the number 1 defence, and there was no way the Eagles were getting through Griffen, Barr, Rhodes, Joseph, Kendricks, Harrison Smith, etc. :moustache:

Yeah, I feel more nervous than the 2018 playoffs. With the ageing vets and other guys on expiring contracts, feels like there is more to lose this time.
Yeah there's more expectation on us. 2018 we were without Wentz so to me it felt like each playoff win was a bonus. This time around we have (I believe) a better roster and pretty much all the key guys are out there playing. Probably the most nervous I've felt since SB52.

I think the 49ers will be our biggest test. Winner of this, IMO, will win the Superbowl.
