I don't think we should look past some of the teams in that schedule. Leaving aside that there are always risers and falls, Jets with Rodgers, Chargers, Dolphins aren't push overs.
All winnable was the point I was really making I guess. First glance has me thinking we could finish 13-4, with losses v Chiefs 49ers Cowboys and Bills

If we're like we were last year there's no unwinnable game. We're probably due for some bad luck though, we stayed remarkably healthy a lot of last year.

Yeah that's true. We could drop games we should win and win those we maybe shouldn't but 13-4 sounds fair? Maybe? Lol. I think we split series v Cowboys and just for fairness sake I'll put us down for a loss against all the contenders.

We just need to win the division, I'd be happy with just that. Win the division and peak at the right time and we're set.

Have been mostly healthy since Sirianni's arrival. The preseason he runs with most starters doing the absolute bare minimum seems to a smart approach.

I think you can maximise certain things, but there are things that you can't. It's a rough and violent game. People fall on each other the wrong way, and major injuries happen. We've had some luck.

I don't think it's unreasonable.

I could probably see some things going wrong, and us falling back to a 10 or 11 week team, not winning the division, but going on a wild card run too.

As long as Hurts stays healthy, we'll be around the mark in the NFC.

For sure, some luck is needed but getting key players to week 1 as unscathed as possible has merits.

Even just winning our division is a battle.

The offseasons between us and Dallas is an interesting comparison. They did much more to improve this season, our off season does much for us into the longer future.

Which is good for us- we were the better team so we don't need to make up ground, they did. They'll see an immediate improvement I suspect from the insertions of Cook, and Gilmore, but how many good years do they have left? Their Mazdi pick might shore up run defence immeditely, but is there upside beyond that? A 25 year old tight end in the second round.

Meanwhile, we've picked up some corner stone guys that are likely to be the core of the team in 2-3 years in Carter, Nolan, maybe even Ringo, Brown etc but aren't likely to be year one upgrades on what we had last year.

All things being equal, you can see us being the class of the division for an extended run in a few years time with the major rivals being the Giants who have begun drafting well.

It also helps experienced players want to play for you, which has helped us keep guys like Kelce, Graham, Bradberry and Slay I suspect.

This division is long overdue for a back to back winner. & yeah, players want to be here it looks like.

Just on the Cowboys, they've got a very weird situation going on with Parsons as he's clearly a Philly guy. No doubt he gives 100% to his team but it could be just a matter of time until he's an Eagle if Howie & Co want to go that way.

Can't see how we'd ever have the cap to get him.

He's a Cowboy, we need to live with that.

I do believe that the NFC East is the division in all of US pro sports with the longest run since there have been back to back Division champs.

We did it each year from 2001-04, no-one since then.

Also the NFC East is currently the only division in the league in which all four current teams have won at least one Super Bowl.
