Yeah going to be a very different looking defence esp if we see Sweat go & who knows who else. BG is back for one more year tho.
Think it's one of Sweat/Reddick going or is it possible we say goodbye to both?

huh? That's a lot of $

I think they think he can have the sort of impact that McCaffrey had on the Niners. If he does no one will complain about the money.

Was that the player or the scheme? Actually, was there a scheme for the 2nd half of the season? I wonder...

Sweat isn't a world beater but he will certainly improve under decent coaches.

He's also due big money. We just got Huff under contract for cheaper than Sweat will want.

We'll trade whichever gets us better deal between him and Reddick, and take the picks while bringing in the best free agent at edge.

That is a lot of money & very surprised Howie would spend so much at that position. Still, he could be the player that sends this offence to the next level.

Just don’t like paying rbs period resources just better elsewhere but otherwise eagles doing really well in free agency so far.

Oh man, don't agree with that at all.

Everyone over the last 2 years has been saying how overrated the RB position is, draft them then discard them etc.

We've got holes everywhere in defence but we've thrown money into the RB? Would've preferred the investment elsewhere.

Of course the added bonus is watching Giants fans cry we've got their prized player now.

That's not this year's orthodoxy though, it's shifting. We just saw CMC drive the Niners to win the NFC.

Jacobs got paid, Swift just got 8 mill per year. Pollard got 8 mill a year.

The difficulty with the 'sign and plug in' approach, if you want to be a top offence, is that its hard to get guys like that who can pass block. Saquon can.
