Pick 14

The other one and i think it was probably strategic in the way we ordered the picked because we knew Richmond were taking a midfielder, but geez if we genuinely rated Hase above Pav that says a bit about the guys in charge of recruitment at the time.

Hase was awesome in his first few years. There were arguments about Hase’s first 50 games being better than Judds.

Wouldn’t mind these picks. Would love hill at 14 tho

Stack at our third pick is crazy. Don't see the need to pick Woodcock that early, especially with Bytel, Stack and Ross still available

Knightmare has no idea of what we are potentially looking at list wise, and to be honest it’s not worth trying to tell him, and he “knows best”.. definetly ego issues.

Freo has typically been hard to read it’s draft positioning so phantom draft people rarely know which way we will go.

At this stage, I'll be happy with either of these three

Liam Stocker
Riley-Collier Dawkins
Ian Hill

Really looking forward to the AFL media team getting off their arses and eventually getting the Draft Machine up and going.

Saaaaaaame.

You say that, but the draft gurus seemed to be all over a couple of out surprise selections / commissions in the not to distant past.
Some examples:
  • Hill over Rich
  • Logue at 7 (or 8)
  • Passing up o Darling

You're talking about 8 and 10 years ago for Hill and Darling. That's verging on ancient history.

Yep, they look good. Bringing in Stack is a bit of a concern but we have to back our systems and leaders and at that pick it’d be super hard to go past him. Love the look of Butters and Woodcock and are just what we need.

Brown and Glass was 18 years ago. We’ve had about five coaches since then. It’s ages ago.

The others yea sure we screwed up but we actually got more for Weller technically than Adelaide did for Lever - I doubt anything would’ve changed for Lever had he been with us. Acres is hardly a gun either - he’s still a bust for pick 18. I would’ve rather “overpaid” at the time for Yeo.

Not picking Darling could’ve cost us a premiership in 2013 whilst picking Simpson was just plain dumb.
Surely not, have you see his GF’s? We’d have lost 2013 by six goals if Darling plays.
