- North won 3 games and finished 17th (pick 2)

- Eagles won 5 games and finished 16th (pick 3)

- Crows won 8 games and finished 15th (pick 4)

- Dee's won 11 games and finished 14th (pick 5).

Hard to see North winning 11 games in 2025. Probably more around the 6-8 mark.

And then .... North Melbourne decided we hadn't done well enough.

2 top 5 picks next year. Maybe 1 and 2. That is totally insane. I am in shock

Correct, if they get out of the bottom 6, it's an ok deal given the early reviews of the draft class.
So it's not a complete robbery, but I'm certainly fine with making the trade, not so happy to have given up the likely 1st pick of Day 2 in 2025 for it.
