He does plenty of work in the midfield too (you can see lots of centre bounce stuff in some other videos), so if we are after more outside run then he’s a good option for pick 9.

taking Armstrong would essentially be an admission we don't rate Jefferson at all.
If we are going for Armstrong then it has to be with the later pick not pick 5. I'd prefer not to go for another KPF.
It's funny the article I read was dees need a forward to go with the development of JVR and Turner. No mention of Jefferson. I haven't given up on Jefferson but it's definitely looking like a Lucas cook pick up.

yeah well if they didn't give Jefferson a game at the end of last year, then they probably don't rate him.
anyway, if we do take Armstrong then no doubt Jeffo will all of a sudden come good and kick bags of goals over summer and force his way into the team for R1.
It's all guesswork off the back of having no real inside information on hand.
Does anyone rate Jefferson? I think most are expecting him to be a bust

Interesting that blurb on Armstrong talks about us potentially sliding pick 9 back to grab Cooper Hynes instead.
Regardless if you can't kick a winning score with JVR, Fritsch, Trac, Kozzy and Chandler only bad coaching can be blamed.

Can't wait until Cal Twomey publishes his final pre-draft phantom. Pretty sure he's nailed the top 10 in order for the last few years, so I reckon he'll be on the money.
FWIW, I don't really mind who or what we pick - we've got so many holes coming up in the next few years that we just need to start filling them. I'm confident our recruiters will pick up two good players.

He was the best forward at APS level a couple of years back, but he was SO skinny it was hard to tell how he'd make the transition.
He's got to start playing this year if he's going to be any good.

I like to give people a chance. He's not had a shot in the seniors yet. He might build some confidence and grab it with both hands, or he might be a fish completely out of water. Either way, we need to find out sometime.

Move Petty to defence and have Jefferson and Armstrong play alongside JVR as our 3 talls up forward.
