Sorry to intrude, just curious about the dees constantly being linked to Armstrong (or a KPF), the age today is another phantom with you guys going KPF.

Is there a genuine link that you guys know of to a KPF or just the usual case of media taking 1 + 1 and getting 9?

Would have thought its mids to support Rivers in future and I’ve heard from decent source you like Reid. Otherwise maybe Tauru if he got to 9? Is there a world you’d take him at 5?

The latter. We already have 4-5 developing KPFs, we don't need more.

The above scenario implies Draper is off the board.

He either goes (Jagga goes 2 to the crows) Carlton at 3 or (Jagga goes 3 to the blues) Adelaide 4.

It then implies you want Tauru above Langford or FOS

But if he was off the board at pick 4 to North.

Your taking 1 of FOS or Langford and the other makes it to my mob at 7.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if we're just playing chicken with North, as we did with Essendon. Doubt we'd take Tauru ahead of any of Smith/Draper/Lalor/Langford/FOS.
 
Though knowing JT, he'll probably do some weird shit like draft Allan and Hynes, and then have them both turn into guns
 
If Crowd take Smith at 2 it will likely be

1. Richmond: Lalor
2. Crows: Smith
3. Carlton: Draper
4. North: Tauru
5. Dees: FOS or Langford (Surely we go FOS)
6. Richmond: Langford or Reid
7. St Kilda: Smillie
8. St Kilda: Langford or Armstrong
9. Demons: Travaglia or Allan

Smillie at 6 is probably assuming Langford is off the board. Good chance he will be there with Tauru jumping the rankings.

The first 2 mocked Langford to the saints and Smillie to the tigers.

The latest article re Jagga to the crows has Smillie at 6 too and implies Langford sliding to us aswell.

Might even get a rare draft melt out of me if we don't come away with one of Smith/Draper/Langford/Lalor/FOS. I'm a JT nuffy, but we desperately need an A-grade mid coming through.

Love the optimism but no one is taking Smillie over Langford. If anyone does they should be sacked.
