Bruh I remember that one weirdo on here who was a massive Omac fan who found evidence he tested top 3 for speed in his draft year as well lol. **** me if he was anything like that on field the dopey campaignerI should clarify a bit, he certainly isnt as slow as Mich was saying, but I dont see the top 3 testing thats all I meant. What I do like about Allan though is the tools, can definitely see some upside in his game. The bombing doesnt concern me so much coz the ball gets there quick, its not a high looping slow kick. I think his kicking can be a real weapon.
Will stand by my boy James Leake being the correct pick until the end of time. He was a skinny lad who was always going to struggle to get a game on a stacked GWS team in year one. I absolutely still believe he will become a player.Fwiw, I'm still a Tholstrup truther. Think he's got the right mix of footy smarts, size and attitude to make a very handy player.
Doubt he'll turn out to be a full-time mid, but I'm still of the opinion that he was a solid pick. Obviously it looks like Wilson might have slipped through, but besides him, nobody really showed more than Tholstrup over the next 15 picks or so (non-Academy picks) last year.
Oh I loved Leake too – IIRC, you and I had a similar lovefest with him to the one we have with Draper and Smith this year haha. Will stand by my boy James Leake being the correct pick until the end of time. By people you mean me. (and Mich)Oh I loved Leake too – IIRC, you and I had a similar lovefest with him to the one we have with Draper and Smith this year haha.
Just think people are a bit too harsh on Tholstrup. I liked what I saw from him.
I don't rate tholstrup long term either. Dont see him doing much outside of a hard working mid forwardBy people you mean me. (and Mich)
Im the biggest Tholstrup hater in the world.
Anyway, I'll cop Tholstrup criticism more than I'll cop Windsor slander. The latter was such an obviously good pick to me – though that argument died pretty quickly for...reasonsBy people you mean me. (and Mich)

That wasn’t me was it? It sounds like something I might say.Bruh I remember that one weirdo on here who was a massive Omac fan who found evidence he tested top 3 for speed in his draft year as well lol. **** me if he was anything like that on field the dopey campaigner
No it was either sando or someone with Davey in their name, it's someone who's been gone a couple years. Also you're a stranger and I don't know youThat wasn’t me was it? It sounds like something I might say.
I’ve remembered the source of my OMac fandom. I watched about 15 minutes of training in January 2015, and OMac and Weideman were playing on each other. I decided both were close to generational talents and having the opportunity to train against each other would push them to even greater heights. No it was either sando or someone with Davey in their name, it's someone who's been gone a couple years. Basically, if he was a bit quicker, he'd be getting talked about at Pick 1. Great size, versatility, pretty evasive for his frame (which negates some of the speed concerns), launches the footy (overall kicking is really no worse than the other top prospects), aggressive, strong in the air, and kicks goals.I know highlights don't show the full picture but he looks pretty good.

Tbh, he's probably just about the most well-rounded player of that top group. Whether he ends up the best hinges on improving his work below his knees, and whether the evasiveness/strength to break away from stoppages he showed in juniors translates to AFL level.

His straight-line pace isn't great (as seen by combine testing) but he definitely has a few tricks that negate that, which—as a primarily inside mid—is mainly what you need.Doesn't even look that slow.

Yep, couldn't agree more. I bet Nat Fyfe is/was shit over 20m too... He goes alright.Yeah 20m combine testing for speed doesn't really matter if you're a pure footballer, know where the footy is going next and have decent 2km time so you can get from contest to contest. I'm keen for Langford
