As someone who lost their mum when I was 26, I have no issue with him wanting to go home if it’s for family. You only get so long.

That said I feel like he has gradually stopped caring on game day more and more as he has known all along what his intentions are and I cannot respect such a gutless effort. I’d like to say I wish you the best career Adam but I truly hope you do not succeed.

Probably known for months. Kept it within family and continued to get games. That’s the frustrating part. Wish known half way through and could play someone else in that role. It is what it is.

So you thought you'd come on an opposition board - right after the announcement when emotions are at their highest with people in full vent mode - and offer a variation of the old Bigfooty trading classic of 3 x spuds = 1 gun... and then expected to get a positive reaction?

Your trade suggestion is dumb and ignorant, if Freo posters went onto the Blues board and suggestion a 1st, 2nd and Crowden for Walsh and a 2nd, the Blues board would give a similar reaction

Theres been barely any talk thats "feral" about his partner... alot of young AFL players end up leaving because of their partner which is a shame. It just sounds like you didnt get a positive response for the shit SPS trade idea and now deflecting it, why isnt he playing when you have spots for him with injuries? I see your board complain about players getting games because theyre shit and he still doesnt get a look in..

I for one would always expect opposition supporters after the announcement of one of their best young players leaving to be highly agreeable to trades, particularly receiving players in return that can’t get a game in a worse team than us.

Here we go, the Vic media campaign to lower his value has started already. If the positions were reversed they'd be proclaiming he was worth 2 x top 5 picks.

This sh*t happens every year and I'm sick of it. Vic clubs get praised for threatening to veto deals unless they get what they want for their player, non-Vic clubs get blasted for being 'unreasonable' when they don't accept whatever meagre scraps are offered to them. Vic clubs get praised for 'playing hardball' and offering unders for players they want, non-Vics get lambasted.

a fair amount of the feral talk about his partner has also been called out by other supporters in this thread.
I’d also suggest given we’ve spent the last 4 years developing Cerra, that it’s somewhat natural that people hope he doesn’t quite deliver for another club rather than give them a gun for the next 10 years

Cerra gone boyos. Can confirm 100% because I saw Cerra at a grocery store in Coogee yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person and asked him if he was going to sign up but said I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Tell me this isn't a possible scenario:
You've got all these media numpties like Ralph, then his manager will get on the radio talking about equivalent trades being done in the past for a second rounder, then an anonymous source will brief the media that a trade is needed to support the mental health of Cerra or his girlfriend or his mum or his three legged puppy, and in the end Bell will be telling us on day one of trade week that it was in everyone's interests to get the deal done and accept pick 15 and move on to secure the long term success of the Fremantle Football Club blah blah blah
