I presume these guys are going around again?

Tungamah - Dodd
Shepp East - Best
Katandra - Hall
Waaia - Varcoe
Dookie Utd -
Katamatite - Wild
Katunga -
Rennie -

Not sure about Osborne (DU), Few (Kga) and Rennie had a caretaker step up midseason.

Can Tell you that Ozzie will not be coaching Dookie Next year. He is having 12 months off.

anyone got any news on arrivals/departures for each club?

A few of the wispers around Deni:

Rovers: Most staying, Great news for the club that Bode is coaching again after all the rumors towards the end of the season he may be moving on. Fitspatrick and Robinson about the only two who will possibly retire May been offered big dollars to go to Kerang but will probably stay at rovers.

Blighty: Would be dissapointed at not getting Schoular and may have trouble hanging onto Napier but most others will be there next year glad Wooden is staying as he is a top player and well liked around the club

Mathoura: Havent heard much but Players like Railton and Phillips would battle to go around again the rest i think were only pretty young so if they can hang onto players like Higgins Kerr etc and get Tonta from the rams(thats the mail anyway) they will be alot better off next year. Probably still need a key forward but dont most teams.

don't let Robinsons grey hair fool you, the silver fox is incredibly fit. From all reports he was amongst the fittest in the club last year. He kind of looks like a MeerKat though i reckon!
Which Tonta is Mathoura bound Rudy? Stevyn (who lives in Echuca) or Jarrod?

Your right Robinson looks about 50 but he is a top player he may go again but i heard towards the end that this would likely be his last year but after they went out he may want to stay and go again. Jarrod i think is the one who has shown some interest in going to Mathoura thats the word coming out of the rams camp anyway.

Why would that be Rudy ???

I thought both were a bit older and they might not want to go around again thats all. i remember reading on here during the year that they were looking at playing all the young blokes. Its only what i thought i may be way off. Trust me im no expert.

You may well be right Rudy, they both, along with B.Willoughby, have children and may choose it to be time to move onto other things within their lives.
The matter about the youth policy was quite evident this year, with quite a few younger players getting games which they wouldn't have got anywhere else.
The 3 older guys named, were in the side for the biggest game the club has probably played in for 10 years and more than justified their selection.
A couple of things to keep in mind is that it is not the highest of standards.
Also anyone in the prime of the footy careers who has either played major league or who believe they are capable of playing major league footy, should dominate at this level of footy.

I wouldn't go that far.

Berrigan is very close to signing ex over and murray league medallist and vcfl superstar.
would be the biggest recruit in picola league for sometime.

From the games that i have seen Phillips played in it looked like his knees where about to give way. Don't get me wrong he did a great job to kick as many goals as he did. Railton was made to look second rate in the finials it looked like he didn't want to be there and looked injured. thats what i saw any way.

Yea your right Buddy25 , Phillips had a terrible season and Railton is terrible and was evident in the finals, in games where the Mathoura forwards dominated, and all of the experienced blokes in the super strong NW are a liabilty to their sides: Fitzpatrick, Germano, May, Robinson, Purcell, Wooden, Noonan, Fox, Sanderson, Dickinson etc. etc.
