E=""The Roar Is Back", post: 37006748, member: 37329"]When Aaron didn't play I suspect the same amount of footy was going into the Jerilderie forward line and no-one kicked near as many goals ?

Spot on..as I said, one has to still get possession of the footy and then convert ( easier said then done). When players like Purcell can do this it proves they have an extraordinary talent. They are few and far between, but the ones that have this extraordinary ability and performed over a long time have become legends in bush footy.
eg, The incredible Trevor Sutton, Graham Bland, Danny Irwin, Perry Meka, Ron Best, and Daryl Jordan to name a few.[/QUOTE]
You'd have to throw Darren Jackson in that bunch kicked over 1200 goals in mfl at one club , and get rid of perry meka I've never seen a bigger sook haha kicks goals at teams expense

So Obviously James for full forward in interleague then...you can make sure of that SP please.

Umm who is gunna tell Purcell he is carrying the oranges??

Geez only what two years ago I was whinging he didn't play in the 2nd year of interleague now he is dumped...How the mighty have fallen... :(;):D

I'm sure they could still squeeze him into a forward pocket Wilty

Had his photo in the local rag along with all Blighty 2015 coaching appointments, captain and president. Had Kyle named as coaching the thirds. Can't be true, like you said torpedo Blighty through & through.

Yes Kyel is Blighty through and through!!! This situation has nothing to do with money. Toc have not poached.

I'm hoping this turns around and he heads back to Blighty.

Heard he lost the captaincy

Definitely lost the captaincy, Sam Singleton is the captain now. Not entirely sure this is the only reason he left, I think his Mrs was very keen for a change so that played a big part too. Doesn't look great after seeing in the paper he was their 3rds coach but he's only been a one club player, may have wanted a change. I'm sure he'll be back there.

I was speaking with a Toc player on the weekend and he said they offered him some good coin to move. He was a little unhappy about not being captain but wasnt going to leave over it. Being a Blighty local he probably wasnt on too much coin at home (and this offers up the whole played players arguement). Hope he isnt using the 'change' reason as same league, same standard, same teams, same ovals, same people. Not really a change just a cop out to his old club. Sorry Wilty but the Toc player also mentioned that his Mrs was after a different club too.

Interesting because Gilbert was my source.

I will add this. it's sad that someone like Kyel who has served the Redeyes so well is copping a bit from a faceless person for making a change. Sometimes it turns out a great move and revitalises a player.
I do not believe this is simply a money grab by Kyel. If he gets some well so be it he does have a family now who happen to be in childcare in Toc.
Yes he is Blighty through and through and I'm sure will always be highly regarded at the Redeyes.
