Was the deadline 5pm tonight? I dunno, I'll be stunned if this goes ahead.

Thats what i thought i read. Today at 5pm sign on and take the points and salary cap or go stand alone. Would this mean that TAC cup cant pick from Pdnfl. I got told that but it cant be true surely.

No , trying to poach on that premise ain't gunna cut it.
TAC cup and many other elite programs take players outside of the AFL system including other sports.
Offering 16 year Olds might be more successful.
Do you honestly think AFL clubs in particular RFC who have the potential of being locked out of their largest zone league are gunna wear that ?
Also don't forget there is always AFL NSW , whilst I believe the MFL and O&M are amongst many leagues that are yet to sign.

Yeah ok I think. I haven't got to any trainings at this stage. I'm told Blighty numbers are good around 20.

No. Havnt spoken to any players. Just a guy that follows all local leagues.

So WILTY are the clubs sticking tight and denying the hub their demands? From a distance the propaganda seems to suggest not. It is bullying of the highest order in my opinion.
Continue to fight the good fight.

“Perhaps some inference could be drawn that the clubs may not have received all the information the league has,” commission chairman Nicholas Rolfe said.

League president Denis Brooks said that was “totally incorrect”. “We’ve always given the clubs every information,” he said.

Perhaps the inference could be drawn that AFL GM are attempting to undermine the board and sneak things through clubs with a divide and conquer mentality by :
- refusing to speak to the board ,
- refusing to meet clubs with the board,
- putting things within a document and then telling clubs they have no effect
- requesting the league sign the affiliation agreement which binds clubs to a yet to be disclosed club agreement.
- stating to clubs that the ccsp will have affect for 12months and therefore neither will the affiliation agreement.

The comments by Mr Rolfe are another very ordinary move by AFL GM , if Mr Rolfe has any evidence he should put up or shut up and apologise.

Heard from a reliable source that the tactics have succeeded and we will see a split take place with up to 10 sides deciding to join AFL GM and in effect create a splinter of the leagues. Hope they look at what they actually get in return for the huge fees they will give to the hub and they can forget about any dividend being paid, look at the GVFL position. Should sell a few copies of the Shepparton News tomorrow
