Good to see ex Dookie United junior Luke Lowden named to make his AFL debut with Hawthorn .
With Tom clurey and Sam Wright is the 3rd PDFNL player to play AFL this year , whilst Dan Howe playing Vic country last weekend , won't have done his chances of being drafted any harm either .

Any truth to the rumor that the $5k has been lodged for an appeal by Waaia in regard to the Waaia vs Katunga case?

Should be a great game at Tungamah this week Rennie are the form side of the comp and they have also picked up a couple of great players late in Jason Sanderson and Bernie Price. I also believe Tungamah are struggling with a few key injuries at the moment with Lee James Corey Hicks and Tyler Walsh and Kyle Archibald might be away with work i think it will be a cracker between these two very strong rivals maybe Tungamah at home by a small margin.

Do Waaia have a bit of an attitude problem out there? Read in today Shepp News that 2 more players had been suspended (1 week each), this ontop of the Meyland incidents.

I heard the Richardson one was for a "deliberate" trip which was more of a bump and the only reason he isn't defending it is he is going away for the weekend. As for the other incident the inside word was a head high bump on a 14 yr old kid (no free kick) then another head high bump on an older player which should of been reported that wasn't sparked an incident (melee') which resulted in 1 report.

Samaria Suns Sporting Club has taken the first big step to Picola District Football League inclusion after its formal request to join the league was approved.

A combined effort between members of Swanpool and Tatong football netball clubs, the Samaria Suns is a completely new entity which hopes to service the greater southern Benalla community.

The biggest concern anticipated from other clubs would be travel, but the Suns believe they would fit in nicely into the PDFL’s south-east competition.

Should the Suns be successful, it would be the second team to come into the league in successive seasons, after Tocumwal successfully joined the league from Murray Football League.

The Suns will use Swanpool’s and Tatong’s facilities, the club will look to engage the greater Benalla community.

From today's Shepp News

Keep hearing a former permiership backman will be back at the Eagles next year!
Apparently he is a part of a package that contains a couple of other 'birds' look to change nests.

Well the run home is about to begin. The last 5 games will be a big 5 weeks for the bottom 4 sides. One would think Waaia won't be able to make it needing to win their last 5 straight. So that leaves Dookie, Katunga, Shepp East and Katanda to make out 3rd 4th and 5th on the ladder.

My make up in the final ladder is as it is now. Shepp East and Katty in an interesting fight for the double chance. Katty to play finals for the first time in 10 years would love to grab the double chance with both mits.

It's going to be an interesting one. I have no idea. Far to hard to call.

Massive game at Rennie this week between Katty and them. Should Katty be good enough to pinch the game will move to second on %. Will be the most interesting finish to the year with top spot all tied up since round 1.

who is this ark n go? premiership or permiership player? full back? other birds? the big power forward from the murray league?

Can't let names out Phillip with the season still going but yes one is a power forward. Other one was a hard running ball magnet but will have to see where his at. Former premiership player is fit as a mallee bull with a deadly left foot.

Tunga Rowe Rennie Sandral Katty A Taylor (but only played a few games) Katandra Minogue SEast Frappell Katunga Emmett Dookie ??? Waaia Baker
These are guesses on top vote getters
