Cole's not the type of player to breakout imo. He's not much chop overhead and he's not an outlet so can't see his average increasing markedly.

Looking at sloanes scores last year the pure number of 130-150 scores is tasty if Gibbs coming, the rise of Matt Crouch and hopefully continued improvement of Brad (fitness allowing) can free up the tag and remove those real low scores. Just very high risk high reward.

just assume that either structure works. I Have Sicily so either option leaves me with the exact same rookie combinations in each line, its just Sicily starts back if Buddy or forward if Hibberd.

To be honest hibberd leaves me with a little more flexibility to fix up wrong rookies if needed in the sense that I could drop a def rookie for a forward rookie by moving Sicily back. Otherwise no difference.

The last position on the field that I am tossing up after a long pre-season:

Merrett v Kelly

I have the bold currently selected with $55,600 remaining. Merrett just killed me not having him at the start of last year. Adams is interesting as well.

Merret for me.

Kelly has a great early draw though.

I just think that Merrett will be top 3 and if you have the cash lock him away. Kelly likely that next tier which while a good start-finish selection, he will be in the mix with a number of others who you could potentially be just as happy with as upgrade targets (and hence more flexibility when doing those upgrades in terms of picking the best value at the time whereas I think Merrett will be one you feel you really need to have regardless)

I really like Vlastuin and I think he is ready to break out. He is been in and out my team.

Brayshaw looks good I have question marks over whether he is a keeper, but, at his price at worst he could be an M9/D7 or something.

Saying all that, currently I have Sicily over both of them at D3.

I have it more weighed up like:

Sicily & Cripps v Brayshaw & Kelly v Vlastuin & Cripps. As Cripps is the player I’d sink the extra $$ into.
