I saw a picture of O'Meara recently... looks ridiculous for an 18 or 19 year old.

Certainly not a bad body for an 18 year old. Bit off the pace with the blokes in mid 20s though.

I don't really bother much with the NAB Cup, how did he go when he was trialled in the NAB Cup in 2011 or 2012?

Yep i agree, I'm not convinced the ruck is the right position for him.
It will be interesting to see if a Goldy/Daw ruck duo would work.
Seeing as Goldy/HMac ruck duo didn't work.

I can't really remember, he was alright i think.
He still had a lot to work on though, but he's come a long way in just 12 months. (Elevated to the senior list now.)

Yeah, having seen him live (admittedly only the once), I wasn't convinced he would make a good ruckman. Then again, he was playing on Bellchambers (who is a decent quality ruckman with plenty of experience), so maybe it was an unfair game to judge him on.

I'd agree with you and TennisPlayerAndy, to me he looked to have more potential as a forward.

Hope he gets a run this year. We've all been waiting. Africans (can I say black people? Doesn't feel right. But nicnats not African) seem to be more proportioned and able to maintain that massive size without loosing their aerobic ability. Nba is amazing the size and aerobic capacity of those guys

He is looking strong in the quads.

However, I'm more concerned about his strength through his shoulders. His left is still strapped, so hopefully he's improved there too.
