Yep spot on...so many options for all clubs.

I just don't see that Reuben Ginbey and Bo Allan fit together at West Coast. Don't get me wrong I rate Allan. I think he's a powerhouse and will play senior footy in his first year but where is his best fit?

I love Urquhart.......from not being able to walk for weeks a year or so ago to get where is now is incredible. I would be gutted if he doesn't at least get rookied.

And on to my usual player in focus. Kayle Gerreyn. Isn't getting the media support that he should be and I dare anyone to give me a good reason why.

Sorry man......I really only know WA players.
Thoughts on Davis and his upside?

Thoughts on Davis and his upside?
Davis has come on in leaps and bounds.

Upside:
A great competitor which is something that I think is under rated amongst the search for athletic traits. A player must have a hunger to contribute I reckon. He'll give effort.

Very wiry build so still gaining compactness and co-ordination in his movements but that is happening at speed now and he does have great athletic traits.

With his height (190cm) he can play forward or mid. He knows when and where to lead to up forward and his power and hunger for the ball make him a great versatile option in the centre square as well.

Don't think he's the type of bloke who will mind going interstate and forging a long term career there.

4 goals in a final in the seniors at WAFL level?
I'd say that's a fair indication the kid can seriously play.

I know he had 40 in the Colts … how do you see his midfield game developing?

I reckon clubs will try and develop him into a mid and he is more than capable of doing that. But I still like the idea of using guys like him in two roles because he knows his leading patterns.

Some blokes just can't figure out how to lead into space on the advantegous side of the kicker. He get's it. I wouldn't say that he's a big contested grab kind of player though.

observer2 is the man to speak to because he's watched Davis through the years in PSA

Always dangerous doing a rankings pre finals but here it is.
Need to catch up on some SA and WA U18's stuff before I'm confident of expanding past 30, and have utilised the last few weeks to re-watch a few of the VIC kids I needed more notes on/ to review. All the usual, ask questions, make comments, post memes, etc.

Have you updated since August? I've trawled through the pages backwards and this was the first I found. Also, couldn't you pin it to the top of the thread? Or am I missing something important and it's available somewhere else easily? Thanks.

I'll probably pop an updated one up on the weekend

As a Tiger supporter i think we can address a whole pile of list shortcomings simply because players who meet those shortcomings are likely to fall at picks the picks we have.

Personally and like most of you draft guru's i keep changing and probably will right up to draft day i would go at the following with our current picks.

1/ Draper just like the look of this kid and he has both burst and sustained pace. I think i'm keeping Brisbane Honest here and Bidding on Ashcroft.

6/ Is actually the pick im not sure about Travaglia, or Lalor if either is there. I think id even bid on Lombard here.
For now lets say Travaglia. In saying this im really torn between Draper and Lalor at pick one. Im a sucker for those big fast skillfull ball winning mids.

10/ Bo Allen here for me especially if we have missed on Lalor. You miss one big fast beast and get the other.
Could probably start him across h/b and just let him build into a midfield role.

11/ One of the following three Armstrong we may get lucky but i think he will go a bit earlier. Im torn between Lindsay and Tauru lets say Lindsay for now. We need a quality wing.

18/ Hotton think he will be gone but at 18 id be prepared to take the risk coming off the injury.
In some ways he makes a decent Shai replacement

23/ Shanahan having missed Armstrong earlier.

24/ Hynes we need explosive general forwards well lets be honest we need a bit of everything just some things more than others. Harrison Oliver is one i really like but if we have Travaglia im looking at another need. Davis if he gets this far with maybe a tall like Gerryn. There are still so many here that are on the wish list.

A haul of Draper, Travaglia, Allen, Lindsay, Hotton, with tall Shanahan, and Davis/Gerryn would be a job well done.
We address a slow slow mid problem we have with quick inside out mids. We address the loss of Rioli with Travaglia and To a lesser degree we address the loss of Bolton with Hotton.

Overall midfield stocks a drastically improved. Pace is improved and we get a promising tall or two all in one draft.

Would be a reach at your first pick 30 is where i see him going which you guys happen to have
Particularly with this draft I'm not fixated on rankings. For example (going purely on highlights) I can't see a definitive case for Allen being around our first and Davis around our second. Vice versa looks plausible given Davis goal kicking ability.

What is Davis's draft range? Is he a first round option for Fremantle?
I'd be comfortable taking him from 20 onwards but i think his running capacity and forward craft being at such a high level might have a club willing to go earlier

I think hotton goes before 18 you would need to take him at 11 bur the rest looks OK.

We've been linked to a few players on that next level presumably for our pick 21
That Im less familar with (which means Ive read a couple online short bios)
Harry Oliver, who I more familiar with seems like a reasonable Harry Perryman replacement long term and is not too dissimilar. Would that be a reasonable assessment.
The other 2 are Oliver Hannaford and Christian Moraes (spelling?) from what I can gather, another small forward who builds the game on pressure and a winger who runs well.
Firstly are any of these 3 Caruso selections, he has a style that is for sure, so are we are chance to pick them.
Do you see them as a good fit, I figure we are stacked with small forwards but a winger could be handy.
Any of note that is relevant to these guys that isnt in the 2 paragraph bios that are available everywhere.

I really like Oliver. Plenty of small defenders can run but he seems to be able to actually defend too.

Hannaford plays everywhere. Some prefer him behind the ball. Disappointing 2km time trial but absolutely starred in some games, including the u18 GF IIRC.

Do you have a copy of Hannaford’s results from the vic combine?

Oliver and Hannaford suit as Caruso picks for sure, Moraes not so much. Has a really good endurance base and is a fantastic distributor by hand, but really inconsistent by foot and his defensive running isn't amazing

I'll give you one from left field Charlie West.
I was spewing that the Tigers missed out on Georgiades, West seems to fit the same bill as a 2nd or 3rd tall.

Was more interested in those players within our draft range of 10-24. Seems like a lot of the KPF's are around that range but I'm not seeing the contested marking. Of course I haven't got the intel and I'm probably way off in my views.
