Big Will needs to get better around the ground push those numbers up imho.

Bad scores have to to with many other avenues out of defence. Broadbent. Also to do with poor efficientcy, isin't really a SC type of player.


Not really vested, from memory: was red vest'd once. Stated as sub once

I wouldn't bet on it mate, I'd approximate perhaps a 40% chance of that occurring.

Already had an injury setback in the pre-season, I'd be pretty wary.

frawleys an interesting proposition this year. Any of Burchall, Hodge or Gibson could see a little more freedom this year. Any three of those would be a worthy risk.

I personally dont like mids awkwardly priced.
wells to me has always been streaky, with higgins dal bastinac Mcdonald Atley and others all getting runs thru the midfield I'm seeing lots of points for north all spread around.
but rule 1 is go with your gut

For a guy who is priced to average 67 he has averaged well over 88 for the past 10 years bar two injury cruelled years. He is a guy who can consistently break the ton and will make you $120,000+ and allow you to upgrade he (plus a cash cow) to a fallen premium (come at me Rocky) once he has maxed out. Thats not to mentiont he possibility of him going 100+ and potentially being a top 20 midfielder anyway.

At that price, he is firmly on watch list duties throughout the NAB Challenge and should he get through will be a lock.

No, wouldn;t be banking on that happening, he seems like the type of player that will gradually increase, rather than have a big jump
 
Might be my carlton bias here but I reckon Docherty is definitely posed to make a big jump this year. Upped his average by 24 points from his debut season to his second season (and first season with carlton). Priced at that awkward 400k range but i think he can up his average again from 76 to at least 90 odd. Only 1.88% have him in their sides atm and I feel like defence is gonna be the where super coach will be won and lost this year with the lack of set and forget premo's

Played as a small forward in yesterdays intra-club game. Possible role change with our lack of small forwards these days..I wouldn't expect him to score well as a small fwd 55-65 ave possibly less if sub affected.

Cross that one off my list.

Not sure it will work but I will try a strategy of having 4 defenders around that $270K to $370K.
Just need to nail 2 of them having a break out year.
