Sorry, dumb question but does 3D not work for some reason? Too early in the game?
I thought mine was being dodgy but the menu/Pokemon X worked fine.

Really enjoying it so far and liking the variety of Pokemon aswell early on
They cut the 3d completely this gen i think... waste of space. Who even used it?
Can you download it off the e-store? How long'd it take?
I'm tempted but i want it in physical so dont want to buy twice?
Or were you at a midnight release?
I downloaded it a week ago, I think its 4 gig. Maybe took about 2 hours?
I don't care much about 3D either, was just curious.
Gives me a headache after a while anyway.

Super Mario 3D World was the only game I remember using it effectively to add to the game.
Once the 2DS came out it stopped any notion of devs focusing on using 3D elements in their game design.

For anyone thinking of doing a nuzlocke on this don't make your encounter just the route. Routes are now much bigger and have different areas within the route with completely different Pokemon and levels. I recommend catching a Pokemon you find in a different area and then checking if you can find it earlier in the same route. If it isn't earlier than you get to keep it.

Why the **** does it take like 3 seconds to get into a battle followed by 2 seconds of black screen coming out. **** me this game is slow.
Its just all the babying stuff at the start that is frustrating me. Hopefully i can work into it soon.
Region is gorgeous though.

Agree 100%. This has gotta be the slowest start to a Pokemon game ever.
Yeah it is a very slow start, doesn't feel like I've properly gotten into the game yet after a few hours.
Enjoying it though so far, can already see it's going to be great later on.

Just evolved my Abra to Kadabra. It learned Kinesis, but still no offensive moves at all. At level 16.

Haven't owned a handheld since Pokémon yellow on Gameboy colour. Thinking of buying a 3DS because I'm finding it a bit harder to game on my PS4 while it's in the lounge being used as a media hub and with a 2 year old running around. At least with a 3DS I can chill on the couch/bed and play occasionally. Just asking what are some must have games? I like RPG/Action/Racing etc, don't really like sports games or shooters (unless it's on console).
Thinking of Pokémon Sun/Moon (what's the difference?), Mario/Diddy Kong and an RPG or something.
