Yes I would rather have our list. This myth about the two teams being equally undermanned is a crock. How many players did Port play that have played less than 10 games??
Chaplin, Pettigrew, Surjan & White actually.

All four kids on our bench had played under 10 games, for one it was his first game. In contrast Port had Francou starting on the bench.
Funny, I thought the aged Lappin and Voss were swapping all game.

Port looked tired in that last quarter. The only tactic that Williams could use to win this game after being up by 40 points with 8 minutes to go was to flood on MASSIVE proportions.
Are you trying to pretend that Brisbane doesn't flood? Hilarious.

I bet you cant.

I was AT the game, can you tell me what the 5 or 6 behind the play free's were for - of course you cant, they dont even get shown on TV.

Yeah right, of course you will sware you happened to be looking behind play the whole time and saw every one of them. Yes of course you did.

Virtually no one at a game sees behind the play frees. They boo their little hearts out at the umpire not having a clue if there was an actual free or not. Pretty much exactly what you are doing now.

None of those frees could possibly have been there because you didn’t happen to see them.

I agree with you weevil. I was at the game, and flatter myself that I have half an idea about what is happening usually, but on Saturday night there were several so-called decisions that no-one had a clue about.
Anyway we won, and that's the main thing. :)

Yeah every game has a bunch of decisions that the crowd loudly disagrees with. You go back home, watch it on TV and more often than not you see that they were in fact clearly warranted.

Yes, not every decision is always perfect. But arguing that free kicks weren’t there simply because the crowd wasn’t looking in that direction at the time is lame.

Port played really well, were much harder at the ball than Brisbane for most of the game and deserved the win.

Chaplin, Pettigrew, Surjan & White as the under 10 gamers... Brett Ebert has 17 odd games. Primus and Francou haven't played in 2 years. Roger James would not have played , if not for the other injuries. he is under done. Not to mention the people that port were missing. Michael Wilson, Byron Pickett, Toby Thurstans, Peter Burgoyne, Shaun Burgoyne, Josh Mahoney, Matthew Bishop, Steven Salopek, and probably more. On that list, 7 players are first choice, top notch players with steve salopek being the exception.

Now how many less than 10 gamers did brisbane play, and how many top notch first choice players were u missing?

Logan first game, Merrett first game, Selwood second game, Adcock second game, Corrie 9 games, McDonald 3rd game. So that's two first games, 2 second gamers a third gamer and a 9th gamer.

Top notch players?

How about a brownlow and Norm Smith medalist (black), Brown, Charman, Brennan, Hadley, Brad Scott.

How do you like them apples??

ok so you have 6 first gamers, to four.

But you'r missing 5 first choice players, compared to our 7. not to mention salopek, who is rated just as high as brennan.

As you can see, both teams were ravaged by injury

Michael Wilson, Byron Pickett, Toby Thurstans, Peter Burgoyne, Shaun Burgoyne, Josh Mahoney, Matthew Bishop, Steven Salopek VS black, Brown, Charman, Brennan, Hadley, Brad Scott.

i know who i'd be puttiing my money on to win that contest.
