If Saints can abng on a couple more, all Port's old nerves will come back. It's a matter of pressure early, which Geelong weren't able to do. Port may be better this year, but they still have the likes of Kingsley, S Burgoyne, Thurstans, Wanganeen etc in their side. The opportunity is there, Saints have to take it.

maguire too short for the ruck, bring on knobel or leave koschitskze in the ruck all over the ground

The pressure is definitely on, Gehrig doing the damage on the scoreboard and Harvey is tearing them apart in the middle.

Should be a good match by the looks of things...

Port have been pretty shakey this quarter, but you'd think as the game progresses they'd settle more, I definitely wouldn't call it choking at the moment.

James has been good for Port thus far, Tredrea looking dangerous, Hudghton just can't seem to keep tabs on him. If the Saints can pinch another one before quarter time, maybe it'd put some seeds of doubt into the Port players' minds.

Cracker match so far.

Go Sainters. Port look dangerous and efficient when in space, but the Saints are playing like they are posessed and cant see anything but the ball.

Saints: 4 - 4 - 28
Port: 4 - 0 - 24

Lade just kicked a goal, Mahoney looking pretty good at the moment. Guess it's good to see, well done to the guy to resurrect his AFL career at Port.

Not much defence being played, or respect for ones direct opponent.

That sort of game would beat Geelong in a GF, but not Brisbane. Brisbane would hurt you badly if you gave their midfield this much space.
