I’d probably still enjoy beating West Coast more because I’ve got more mates that support them but I’d genuinely rather see West Coast finish higher on the ladder than Carlton.

I wish him all the best tbh. Gave us everything he had whilst he was here and I respect that. Was a quality player for us and will be for Collingwood IMO.

I will not be booing him or Hamling when they come to Optus (I’m actually away for Collingwood game anyway lol).

Lobb and Henry can GAGF though. As far as I’m concerned we really got to Lobb last season as a crowd - I see no reason given how sh** he was to not do it again.

In one of my few correct calls, I was saying before the season started last year Geelong are a good chance of falling, I dont see this being any different with Collingwood with the added benefit that NO ONE wins as many close games as they win consistently. It's hard for the younger players to get up as well.

Of course, this could all blow up in my face spectacularly but I like our chances with the Pies pick

The double edged sword to the pies winning many close games over the past 2 years (giving them confidence they will win) is if they lose a couple close games in the near future thier confidence to win a close game will wane.

Yes ... at the very least because he was traded midway through his contract. A player identifying a club they want to go to that is also willing to trade with us whilst said player is still under contract is absolutely the best thing the player can do for his original team.

So much better to to what Schultzy did that to do what Henry did: sit out a contract with no intention of re-signing and then just go, "Sucks to be you but I ain't signing. Guess you are going to eat a dick at the trade table."

Schultz was a loser who told the club he was gonna sign a two year extension despite what he had going on in his personal life, and then decided at last moment possible to leave the team who took a chance on him and gave him a career to **** off to the premiers and the premiers only. Leaving us zero time to find a ready made replacement and left us scrambling for recruits because he had indicated to the club he’d stay until at least the end of 2026.
