Port Power at Adelaide Oval home crowd watch: 2014 edition

I mean they have never averaged about 16k like Port did in 2011/12. They have always been been pretty consistent with 30-45k crowds and rarely going under that.

We didn't average 16k in 2011/12, or are you talking abour own figures?

Lol Norf supporter talkin crowds. Just stop now NL, just stop.
I not once mentioned North's crowds, so I don't see what that has to do with it. Just comparing the crowd sizes of Adelaide and Port when those teams are down (which favours Adelaide significantly.)

So youre saying that Ports crowds when times are shit are << the crows? This is fairly self evident

What I don't understand is how Norf are any better at least when times are good our fans show up do your fans ever turn up? good times or no?

Again, I never said that we are "any better".

But since you are going there, North don't have bandwagoners. Our supporter base is small but loyal. We don't drop off when the team is down. Our attendance might drop from avg 19k (against interstate teams) to avg 16k, as opposed to Port dropping from 45k all the way down 16k when times are bad (e.g. 2011/12).

So yes, our fans do turn up. We just don't have that many of them compared to other clubs. Good supporters don't drop off in bad times.

1st off I would congratulate Port on beating my mob fair and square. Kudos to Wingard, wines and even Kane Mitchell for working hard for the win.

However 38,234 was slightly disappointing for a brilliant hard fought game.

Its more than I tipped. A few of my mates couldnt go cos they had their own footy to play. I had to get the day off work.

Freo is also a boring team to watch and bring a very small supporter group to the game

On a Saturday afternoon with the softies scared away by the rain? Slightly disappointing my ****ing arse.

It's disappointing that your team lay down while we took a shit on them for the first 20 minutes of the last quarter.

you didnt take a poo on us, you overran us and got the ball quicker.

Heard today that the Port v Hawthorn game is already sold out.
Are you trying to hide the fact only 38,000 turned up to watch a team playing for top spot against last year's grand finalists? Power fans thought they might see a loss and as usual stayed away in droves. If Adelaide were in the same position we would have filled our oval to bursting.

A lot of people go to the footy for entertainment, so watching Freo play probably isn't on the table for them.

does that mean port are not entertaining either or do you only show up for certain wins against pretty teams? I hope Man city win for you tonite by the way.

If it had been the Cows playing Freo, they would have got 44,000 at the game and 40,000 would have left at 3/4 time because Freo would have been 60 points up. The other 4,000 would be the Freo fans hanging around for 90 point margin at the end of the game.

Nothing wrong with a 38k crowd. The fact that you choose to troll that number shows you have absolutely nothing else to try and use.

I'll take 38k on a Saturday afternoon after shithouse weather the day before and in the morning of the game.

You might be waiting some time for Adelaide to be in the same position champ.:thumbsu:

my point exactly! we would get a bigger attendance every time

We may have got 38k but at least our supporters didn't start leaving until the end of the game.
You Cows are getting really desperate if all you can do is troll crowd numbers this year. :rainbow: But then again 119, bay covers, like your pathetic, plastic corporation aren't relevant anymore.

I guess it must really pepper your Angus that you aren't the number one team in West Horsham any more.

Love Twiggy, Chapman and Notso's work, long may they reign. :thumbsu:

The Crows last home final happened to be against Freo, guess how many of them turned up.
