40 point win, a few goals each to Dixon and Georgie, strong 30 possession game from Wines, Logan Evans outstanding.

Strangely umpired game. We didn't have arms and they didn't have backs.

Did what we had to.

Most here won't like it but the major positive was Dixon. We look a much more dangerous team when we have a proper target man who can take a big mark inside 50. And it takes the pressure off Georgiades who got his goals much easier tonight as a result.

Overall you’d say we don’t look like a finals team but there is some upside. Some take aways.

Mitch
Looks like wants to own it now.

Burgoyne
Happy knack of getting his hand in there, spoils and tackles. Drew 2.0. He will be elite.

Wines
He’s back to being solid. Less hack kicks than I ever remember from him.

Dixon
Off the ball stuff was impressive at times.

Willie
If he could get 15 touches he’d rip a game apart.

Bergman
Second half of the season he has been so settled and his kicking is incrementally improving. He’s becoming excellent.

Williams
He’s too heavy around the hips and his lost his quick mobility.

Drew
Killed it tonight with clearance.

Boak
Was always a shit kick for goal but it’s a joke now.

Lord
What’s happening? Disappointing.

Sweet
Funny how the narrative was written first few weeks of the season. Looks like right now we have our ruckman.

Aliir and Esava
Someone needs to grab the backline by the short and curlies and be the boss back there and just bark orders. Esava can still play a part but he’s gotta be led. Not a natural footballer.

Houston, Butters, Rozee and JHF weren’t overly dominant tonight. It was a solid team effort in the last.

Very unimpressive even allowing for an open last quarter that blew out the margin.

The positives IMO were the form of Sweet and BZT who have both had a strong run of form in recent matches. Logan Evans and Bergman are playing disciplined, strong intercepting and rebounding footy in defence. TBH if Jones and Farrell were both fit, I’d bring them in for Williams and Esava and that gives us a nice dynamic and speedy backline.

Burgoyne on a wing goes from strength to strength. I thought he had an excellent second half especially. Wines other than a stinker of a third quarter was pretty good. Butters and Drew got going in the last but both were ordinary up until then, as was JHF throughout.

Frankie Evans and Narkle continue to give us spark up forward. Georgiades keeps getting on the scoreboard and Dixon did little wrong tonight. Lord is just not coming on. It’s one thing to have 0 touches at HT, but to continually stand behind your man for the fifth week in a row is not on. If Scully has a decent game tomorrow, that change has to be made. Lord and Marshall could learn a lot from the way Georgiades works over his opponents and finds space.

I think it’s unlikely Dixon sustains any run of good form. Weitering and then Butts/Keane, May and Pearce will have their way with him over the next few weeks.

That last quarter against Carlton should still be absolutely stinging, it was truly horrible.

Never know what might happen at Marvel next week.

Are we still on a good winning streak there?

Did he? He spent most of the night playingfrom behind.. and we spend most of the night kicking on his head whilst he played from behind and we missed hitting up other targets..
