Yep there’s a good defence in there considering they’ve had to deal with a losing midfield

Without deviating too much, losing ruckman, not midfield.

Dawson, Soligo, Rankine, have really changed the midfield. It's the ruck thats the problem.

Midfield = good
Ruck = bad

Our defence, which all pundits and apparently even our coaches thought would be a weakness this year, has been really good (Amartey the obvious exception)
This is one area that I feel bodes well going forward.

IF we can get a decent coaching panel, our backline is very good. Not just the personnel, but the method Hombsch has set up is great.

You need a rock solid backline to win Premierships.

We all understand the club is not in a good spot. We all get that, but there are 9000 negative threads to post that innuendo in.

If people genuinely care about the club, they should be able to find one or two positive aspects. Instead of the plethora of negativity that gets posted.

But it's very easy to tell who the trolls are.

Hi John,

How’s the medical world?

In Rankine and Dawson, we have two top 25 players in the AFL.

in Thilthorpe, we have one of the most promising talls in the game, who’s only confidence away from being a star.

We have the best group of young defenders in the competition - Murray, Worrell, MM, Butts, Nankervis, Hinge, Keane all early in their careers.

In Soligo, Dowling, Taylor (+rd 1 2024 mid) we potentially have the base of a powerhouse midfield.

Our best football is a match for the best teams and is exciting to watch.

A full Adelaide Oval under lights is the best live game atmosphere in Australia (probably helps if you’re a Crows fan).

Our indigenous jumpers are the best in sport.

We’ve won twice as many flags as Port.

We’re not St. Kilda.

Other teams cant get him now.

We're starting to get a much clearer sense of players who can genuinely contribute to our future, which will make planning for how we improve a lot easier.
Hopefully this flows through to selections.

Far too many poliomyelitis areas
We have been competitive in every game this year and even though at times we have made lots of mistakes and looked bereft of confidence our biggest losing margin is 42 points. I think this points to a structure that holds up under pressure. Last game half our team had played under 50 games, Keane, Rachelle, Himmelberg, Berry, Cook, Dowling, Hamill, Michaelanny, Murray, Nankervis and Taylor and add Pedlar and Thilthorp to that so expect less inconsistency when they have played more.

Rankine to midfield. As posted 2 seasons ago, could become a 23-25 touch & 2 goal per game player. Impact +++++.
Defence overall has been really good and only Butts has slow/sideways default setting.
Out of form Experienced players have been dropped to the 2s.
Proven the midfield can function and thrive without crab stat padders.
Tex played hampered, got injured and wasn't rushed back, despite other forward injuries.

I missed the delusion in that OP, "innuendo". Not sure who this poster is, to state that any negative posts are innuendo is fanaticism at extreme levels. Surely you could start a positive thread without sinking that low.

So you are telling me, every negative post is made with accuracy and honesty?

Pull the other one, it plays jingle bells.
