Tim Knotting is very keen to move West also Nathan Bassett name has been thrown around as he is very unhappy in Adelaide. West Coast officials have spoken to his management.

I don't think the club is after any of these players and don't really see them fitting into our side as there are players that will be ahead of them and these guys will end up playing in the WAFL.

Send them to the mob down the road.

wouldn't mind Notting. But not far anything to outragoues.

Bassett is a good backman is his own right, but is too old to consider picking up in a trade.

If your rumour is as accurate as your spelling of his name, Tim could end up in Mauritius.

Bassett wouldn't get into our team.

its knot all about spelling

Notting has two premiership medals 2002/2003 and has played some very good games for the Lions this year. He is 25yo and I would swap him for:

Rowan Jones & kasey Green
Callum Chambers & Kane Munro
or Chad Fletcher

I'd easily do the first two, but I don't think the Lions would. I'd rather Fletcher than Notting.

Chad Morrison to the Dogs for a 3rd round draft pick?

at the start of the season i would have said yes, but now after averaging around 24 possesions for the last month from a HBF i think i would take a 2nd round pick.

chad was a super talented younster, he arrived at the same time as cousins and i rated him just as highly as ben. look what 2 knee reco's can do to a guy, but he has come back and is now beginning to show he still has huge ability.

Notting is overrated by the fact that he's been a part of a great team. In fact I'm surprised that even that has him rated so highly. I'd say pass.

Bassett could be handy, but certainly not essential.

There are two kinds of players that are keen to move West.
One is the kind of player that has a burning desire to play for a club thats closer to their heart. eg Peter Bell, Daniel Chick.
The other just wants the nice lifestyle.. and only performs when their contract is in negotiation or they get too much media criticism.
eg Farmer, Headland.... and Tim Notting.

3rd round? Have you not been watching Morrisons last month and a bit? Plus we have the third youngest squad in the league, we need experience.

Go away.

In the past 8 weeks Morrison has been averaging around 20+ possessions in the back line. He is probably the in form player in our team and you want a round 3 for him.. Your dreaming

He WAS a candidate for a trade but after his recent form he is definelty hands off and has really began hitting the form he was in before his two knee reconstructions

I'm officially back on the Morrison bandwagon. Was a big fan as soon as he arrived at the Eagles, but lost patience after his two knee ops. To his credit he has come back well and if he can hold this form (or roundabouts) long term, then he'll have made a full recovery.

Would u giys be willing to give hanson or paul johnson?
If so what would u want for either of them?

Johnson will likely be offered around, apparently he's suffering from homesickness. We won't get much for him, as he only has potential at the moment. Could be a steal if anyone does successfully trade for him.

Hansen is another matter. After an initial bout of homesickness, seems to have settled in well. Impressed everyone since making his debut, and I don't think there's many at the eagles who would want to see him traded. Again, little trade value due to lack of AFL exposure, but could well be our CHF for the next decade. That said, it all depends on what happens with Gardiner and Gaspar. If both play the full season in 2005, Hansen may find it hard to get a regular game. If thats the case, and he may request to be traded where he won't just be back-up.
