In defence of self. It is amazing how popular you become when you move from the City and go to live full time at the beach house. First sign of sunshine and every campaigner you've ever met has a sudden urge to spend quality time with you.
Pub is actually not bad, but the crowd there are scary. I learned to drink in the military, which in my time required fairly advanced ability. But the people down here are scary good on the elbow.
My local pub is between leasees so wouldn’t have been open anyway.

I very much prefer keeping the border closed and bugger all COVID cases over any slight chance we had of hosting a GF.Every west Aussie I’ve spoken with has said the same “couldn’t care less about the grand final as long as we keep COVID out”. My parents r elderly.my dads heart is held together with stents and artificial valves.No way he survives a run in with that plague. Happy with the governments stance

I do understand why the AFL has to try and keep West Coast down as much as it can without legal action....if we were left to go about our business unchallenged like Carlton, Collingwood and Richmond we would become the Perth Wildcats of this league. Of that I have no doubt.

What a horrible year it's been and looks like the year from hell has another surprise coming its way in few weeks.
