Award season is underway with the announcement of the All Australian team.

Jeremy McGovern is chasing his fifth All Australian blazer, while Jake Waterman is looking to cap off his breakout season with his first All Australian.

Fingers crossed for Jake and Gov.

Harley Reid is also up for AFLPA Best First Year Player.

Gov likely won’t get it but he’s someone by the end of his career that should really have ended with 6 AA’s he’s in that scarlett calibre. Crazy to think that in the last 20 odd years the two blokes to wear 20 combined for 10 AA jackets. I was very surprised when they didn’t retire his number and gave it Gov straight away, especially after Govs start to his footballing career.

Ollie Dempsey wins the Rising Bradbury Award

Reckon McKercher or Windsor should’ve got it personally
Thanked the Tribunal for rubbing out Reid and Darcy which is nice.

No way Gawn had a better year than Xerri or even Rowan Marshall

To be fair, you cant expect them to even put the best saints player this year in the 44 man squad even if they dont watch their games.
Xerri or Marshall shouldve got it for sure.
We were very lucky someone mustve caught a glimpse of one of our games to get Gov in
