ZeeFC isn't as prolific as he once was. Kept everyone's addiction going with replay links for a while there.

Starchamber wins the award for biggest effect left on the forum per time spent on forum. Did mods ever look into if he/she ever made a new account and has become a "normal" poster

My point is that everything you write seems to lead somewhere, there's always a bigger (often hidden, or replaced by ellipses) meaning that reveals itself over several posts.

I have no idea how that got into that post. Clearly I inserted it as I had watched it, but there's absolutely no context around it.

Just on Peterson though (as with anyone) One has the ability to house good ideas and some bad ones and even then they're left mostly subjective as his are here. His interview with Cathy ...... is a beauty though.

Let me know when you've actually listened to those ideas before dismissing them. Particularly since you have been pushing a similar message here.

Petersen is a very divisive character and I neither like him nor dislike him.

His approach to debate is very sound and given the topics he raises aren't for everyone, one can understand the hate/love for him.

This is exactly what I disliked about this board in the sense of where it was heading. It wanted to hijack football discussion with fluff, buddy-chat, dad-jokes (and the repetition of them was something to behold) and general nonsense. It's also why I choose to look for key words to hook onto before I read a post in full.....and I don't read many posts in full.

Anyway, let's get back to the football and leave the personal stuff alone. Haven't we tired of that?

How silly for a community of common interest to behave like a community. Don't know how or why it happens...

When off-topic chat detracts from football discussion and doesn't improve or value-add to the forum community, it's dealt with by the mods here appropriately in the vast majority of cases. What do you want from other posters? And why should they do it?

This feels more than a bit condescending.
For someone who doesn't like non-football posts, you've been hijacking a few threads lately with digs at people.

You may not like the community aspect of the board (in-jokes, buddy chat etc) but clearly a lot of people do. I agree that sometimes the jokes go on for far too long (the cheese puns alone have nearly broken my spirit on more than one occasion) but this forum doesn't exist purely to please one person.

You got to show a bit of personality in all aspects of life Harks or else you may as well be a computer. Understand you just want to talk footy that's ok but i think most of us want to do it with a bit of flair.

I’m such an irregular poster - by choice - that my opinion in these BF matters is fairly irrelevant. And I’m comfortable with that. But the way this thread has (d)evolved from HBF’s initial post and intent is exactly why I don’t bother posting frequently.

Anyway, good thread HBF. And Parrot... I enjoyed reading her posts. And I’d like ferrisb to disappear briefly so I can complement his posting style in this thread (only kidding ferrisb).
