Would u rather go to a club with a great coach, great history, a very reasonable expectation that things can turn around in 2 or 3 years like Collingwood, (Carlton has the resources bar draft picks which we'll get next year anyhow) or a rabble like Geelong
Carlton: a proud history of player payment rorts and corrupt management.

I would bet Carlton are more likely to attract an top free agent then Geelong.

Geelong lack players who have heart and toughness as well. They desperatley need a Chris/Brad Scott type enforcer.
Apart from Joel Corey who is admitttedly going to be a great player, most of Geelong's players, whilst talented appear to be soft ***** who shrirk away from the hard stuff.
Let's not start talking about what each club needs. You've gotta agree your wish list is longer than ours. I do agree though that Carlton can attract free agents easier than Geelong. They've a proud history of trading instead of building.

That quote coming from a club whom one of it's past champions rorted and defrauded an entire community, and caused many people to lose their life savings (David Clarke)

I could be wrong but didn't David Clarke finish his career at Carlton?
