wouldn't imagine we would make any more trades. we now have 5 picks in the draft (4 if we promote mitchell/get polec). no real surprises no point waiting for Thomas to get a FA. Sad to see Salter go and Blee showed something but the writing was on the wall for a long time. GL in their future endeavours boys

dont think hitchcock will get delisted seeing as ken brought him over for the two finals games to soak up the 'finals experience' but he may change his mind however it would appear that he rates him quite highly

Wouldn't be surprised if Hitchcock is delisted a later date.

I've been his biggest critic, but 1 final year on a rookie contract isn't a terrible idea. From what we've all heard, he performs well at training, and Ken has tried starting him a few times this year. Ken must see something in him. If he can actually get onto the park without pulling a hammy from tying his shoelaces, then he'll be an addition to our team (until Neade fully develops).

Bit disappointed about Blee. I don't like to hate on our players but seriously what does Hitchcock need to do to prove himself of a delisting?

Agreed, i thought he would be out the door but it seems KH has a soft spot for him.

I'd say more the fact that D Butcher hans't been able to find any good form at league level

Can't disagree with any of that. Surprised Hitchcock's name isn't there. He might go later, I guess.

The best part is, none of those players are best 22, so our potential isn't harmed by those delistings.

I hope that someone picks up Salter. He's been unlucky.

Can understand the delistings and there was no way we'd get any sort of compo for Thomas, unless the other team was paying way overs (salary) for him, which is unlikely. Remember Knights, etc. got 0 compo.

Blee, I think was unlucky. Was drafted as a mature backup KPD on the back of getting into the WAFL team of the year as a FB (CHB?), but was played as a winger at the Roosters. I personally thought the Magpies reserves team would have helped him in 2014, oh well.

So that means 5 spaces open in our Senior list?

So that means at the moment we have to draft at least 2, which means there is room for 1 or 2 players to be traded in.

Will we leave Mitchell on the rookie list?? Will we cut Hitchcock or drop him to the rookie list? What about Renouf? Will he stay on the main list.

No, but you can delist them and redraft them in the rookie draft.

Wouldve liked to see him up forward under Hinkley. I trust the clubs judgement though.
