It’s a shame it’s a 12 day break between games, just hope it doesn’t stunt the momentum the group have gained over the last fortnight.
I can see minimal changes into Anzac Day, the club have ruled out Wells already.
Elliott and Adams unlikely so I would think almost go in Unchanged then swing some changes for the backup games 4 days later against the tigers depending on the recovery of the group.

Really looking forward to Anzac Day now and the tigers game, two massive crowds within the week.

In - Moore, Adams

Out - Dunn, Varcoe

It's debatable about who goes out for these two important players to return, but in all truth I would be pretty comfortable for Dunn and Varcoe to have a spell.

Adams will do everything in his power to come back for this game, his diligence in recovering from minor issues in the past gives him a chance for believing he will force his way back in time for the clash.

I'm hoping Moore is right so he can play on Joe Daniher. Last year Daniher was the difference between the two sides and really we don't want to see him kick them to victory, he could be the best player in the competition on his day so it's vital Moore can stop him from producing a BOG performance.
You've either lost your marbles or you have not watched a Collingwood game in the past 2 years.

DUNN is our best defender in terms of taking the opposition big man out of the game by some stretch.

And Varcoe? Almost every touch he had on Friday resulted in a goal. Didn't have much of it but was influential.

You must've clearly just have looked at the stats and made assumptions or you are trolling lol.

Dunn is not going to lead us forward beyond the rest of the season. He plays his role to the best of his ability but I thought he looked pretty slow with the ball in hand on Friday, he was lucky we played a team which lacked forward pressure otherwise he would have cost us 3-4 goals.

I have no doubt Essendon will be making note of this in match committee and going to work on exposing his weakness by using smaller forwards in isolation positions.

Varcoe is good but I would like to see C.Brown developed in his position and put into the spotlight, he's got the speed and smarts to execute the basics as a forward option.

"Bucks likes a settled side" what planet have you been living on since 2012?
It’s what he said in his post match presser - hence the quote marks. His words, not mine and therefore a good indication on changes for next game

The planet of logic and consequences Frankie boy

Names like Bird, Cooney, Giles, Aylet and Edwards come to mind.... difference being our dud was a FA... what'd your's cost? ;)
all of them didnt cost much at all....they were all trying to reserect there careers....most club pick up experienced players....didnt see us throwing a 4 year contract at them thou....thats the most stiffling thing about the whole trade...4 years...seriously

And we may yet.

Dawes 2010 and Cox 2018 in a very similar place in terms of years on a list and games played. Well if you ignore that Dawes has played footy all his life and was a highly touted junior before being drafted. Be an interesting one to review at seasons end.
Highly doubtful

Where has anyone actually said he's playing well? I, and I assume quite a few others, think he's played a role that was beneficial to the team outcome the last 2 games but that doesn't even suggest he has played well.
Match day threads, Wayne Carey was even comparing him to Cyril Rioli

Daniher is a basket case when it comes to his set shots for goal. He attempts from 35/40 metres out from goal on a 45 degree angle
across the boby shots. I hope he continues that line of thinking against CFC on Anzac day.

I wonder who his mentors are, they should be saying something. Essendon might need to give Sav a call.

Only after we beat them.

Bird, Giles, Aylet and Edwards had careers to resurrect, well there you go.

He’s been soild, but I’d go for fasolo’s elite kicking skills and marking ability rather than another in and under midfielder.

But I can see the reason to keep him - why change a winning combination?

When team defense works as it did against adelaide you don’t need to be tall. I think our def as is can handle the bombers if they continue to work and cover for each other. The boys look to be gaining some cohesion and chemistry down back.

No change I say

Dunn and Varcoe make us better right now. They play.
