Think people focus too much on his negatives. His pressure up forward is elite, one of the best in the comp. Even if he wasn’t to improve as much as we hope, he probably still gets a game because of the pressure. In a great side, he is like liquid gold, but does get exposed more in a poor side where you look at the stat sheet and it looks like he did absolutely nothing all day.

Goals, disposals are just the added bonuses to his role and what keeps him from being in the top echelon of small forwards.

Obviously hopefully he improves, but if an Alger can becoming a goal kicking small and provide 30+ goals a season, it would make for an exciting small forward pair.

Clearly his tank has improved judging by his running capacity during PS

Before Mj got injured last year (middle of the year) he was really starting to play some decent footy.

Apologies it’s been mentioned already but I Love the way Blighty specifically mentioned Broardy & Kambo in his video as role models, and go-to’s for advice etc. As well as saying how even after 10 plus years at the club those boys train as hard as anyone…
That’s a big part of leadership for me, setting the standards and being approachable, Go Tiges!!

Was told Smilie has been measured at 196.4cm whilst Lalor is closing in on 189cm.

Ive been watching all our club media videos and media blogs lately. The boys look inspired, invested and most importantly happy again. Ben Serpell is a great appointment IMHO. The battle for spots in the team makes it really exciting for next year. I so look forward to attending games as always. Lalor and Smillie are gonna take the comp by storm. I can feel it in my oldish Tiger bones!!
