Broady …yes….(Grimes Lambo also absolute steals)

Misses….Corey…yes…so many others sadly

Biggest hit: Nathan Broad, pick 67, 2015
Biggest miss: Corey Ellis, pick 12, 2014

The Tigers were one of the League's dominant forces for the majority of this time period, limiting their access to the very top echelon of talent, but they still had their share of hits to top off their premiership list build. WA product Broadwas the best of these, joining Richmond with a late pick in 2015. Five years later, he was a triple premiership player. Shai Bolton (pick 29, 2016) and Jack Graham (pick 53, 2016) arrived the following year and have also outperformed their draft rankings. Richmond has traded several of its top picks for established talent but one of their few top-15 picks, Corey Ellis, failed to fire, as did fellow ball-winner Riley Collier-Dawkins (pick 20 in 2018) - Michael Rogers

2014 was a weird draft, if it wasn't Corey Ellis it likely would've been another flop, not many good players available in that range. And yet we picked the eyes out of that year's pool with Butler, Short, Castagna, Lambert, Soldo.

amazing that 'professional sports athletes ' can train for less than 2 weeks and then break for so long

a bit of training before jumping into the real stuff is not enough. no wonder they all get injured so much

we shouldve been back earlier to get a jump on the comp especially since we're coming from such a low bar

Calm down you lot, they are still training and on strict programs.
cant wait for lalor and smilie debuts in 2027

You really need to temper your expectations, I wouldnt expect to see either play any competitive football for atleast 3-8 years.

IIRC we also picked Menadue at that draft. Both him and Ellis about a meek 68kg ringing wet.
