Hard to fault this list. Think Hart should be in there though
The 2 players that have missed out for me were Royce Hart & Alex Rance
whilst he was a champion he still only played 187 games and just under 2 goals a game in a high goal scoring era
Rance due to pulling the pin with 3-4 years left me angry

Raines and Lids would have been the players to miss if they were included

From PRE The Mole

I dropped past PRO about halfway thru training this morning. Not too much to report. Nank, Lefau and Dow running only and McAuliffe and Hotton walking. Dow was doing a LOT of running to the point of exhaustion.
I didnt see Simms, Vlastuin, Faull, Gibcus, Balta, Clarke, Colina, Prestia or Young at all on the track. They may have been there earlier and gone inside (like McAuliffe and Hotton).
Drills I saw were movement into the forward line and kicking snap shots at goal. Prominent were Campbell, Mansell, Alger, Steely and Fawcett. Lalor later in the session was having a few snap shots and didn't miss one. Wearing the non-contact fluoro green caps were Brown (still) and Bauer. Lynch looked fit and did everything. :)

 So basically, we have #injuries

This bit annoys me, really want this kid in the side so people dont write him off so quickly.

I have not seen any training prior to Xmas as I was in NZ. Can you tell me what you think of Alger, Is he any chance of a game in 2025?

I think we should just relax and not worry, we're in for a few years of pain, doesn't matter who plays really, as long as we do get a good look at all of the kids at some stage.

But yeah, unlike 2017-23, we shouldn't come in with the same stress this year or worry about how we're faring injury-wise, we should embrace getting pick 1 or 2 again (and hoping North gets pick 1 or 2), stock up before Tas comes in, we'll be the best placed team to have sustained success 4-6 years from now.

That wasn’t me posting about training…that was a poster on PRE

however, from the anecdotal reports from various posters including Caesar on PRE it seems Alger is impressing with his footy IQ and willingness to learn and train hard

Being barely 18- he’ll play mostly vfl…depending on how that goes for him…he could be a sneaky

The club has said they’re not sure exactly what position he plays (based on assessments when they observed him throughout 2024) …so it will be interesting to see where the club goes with this

I’m excited about Jasper …he is a mad tiger fan …is obsessed with playing afl…and has the skills to nurture and develop

Rance was easily a better player than Deledio, at no point was Lids anywhere near the top few of his position whereas Rance was the premier KPD of the comp for 3-5 years
