Rance was easily a better player than Deledio, at no point was Lids anywhere near the top few of his position whereas Rance was the premier KPD of the comp for 3-5 years

Rance was a god, one of the best players ever
shit campaigner shouldn't have quit

From PRE The Mole

I dropped past PRO about halfway thru training this morning. Not too much to report. Nank, Lefau and Dow running only and McAuliffe and Hotton walking. Dow was doing a LOT of running to the point of exhaustion.
I didnt see Simms, Vlastuin, Faull, Gibcus, Balta, Clarke, Colina, Prestia or Young at all on the track. They may have been there earlier and gone inside (like McAuliffe and Hotton).
Drills I saw were movement into the forward line and kicking snap shots at goal. Prominent were Campbell, Mansell, Alger, Steely and Fawcett. Lalor later in the session was having a few snap shots and didn't miss one. Wearing the non-contact fluoro green caps were Brown (still) and Bauer. Lynch looked fit and did everything. :)
Seems some of the guys who are doing running might have been involved with drills earlier (note first pick that club uploaded features Nank in a loose ball drill)

Nope, Geelong bring their own rules, media stooges, dodgy 3rd party money deals that never get looked at seriously, and their own fixture guy. That's just the stuff we know about.

didn't their future ceo join the AFL n change rule after rule just to kill the tigers before returning home to geelol

i may be remembering incorrectly

Footy pre-season is back as players casually wandered back into clubs on Thursday morning.
Tom Lynch eased into full training as Noah Balta joined his teammates to re-start pre-season on Thursday.

Most clubs have taken it easy on their return to clubs - with Richmond hosting a barbecue before a light session as defender Nick Vlastuin happily rolled into the Punt Road car park topless in the morning.

Defender Balta arrived early on Thursday and didn’t answer questions from media as he stepped into the club for the first time after being charged with assault.

He was on track with teammates as usual.

Lynch stepped straight into the main group after playing just eight games in the past two years as he builds up to take his place in Richmond’s round 1 side.

Skipper Toby Nankervis, midfielder Dion Prestia, forward Mykelti Lefau and defender Josh Gibcus were among a large group of Tigers training away from the main group to start the session.

No.1 draft pick Sam Lalor had been on light duties through his first pre-season following a serious hamstring injury late in his draft year but was straight in with the main group to start the new year.

Breakout defender Tom Brown had also been hampered by ankle and shoulder woes before Christmas but he joined the main group on Thursday.

How long will it take to get Lalor match fit. Anybody know?
