Has filled out nicely.
Got a good feeling about Fawcett & McAuliffe.

recruiters been targeting ready to play ~ types. Fawcett & McAuliffe, Blight & the 2024 gang of 8. No RCDs, Dows, Ryans, going to take 5 years to mature.

McAuliffe got his career off to a great start, I'm bullish he'll play a lot more football. DEFINITELY

Blight has Gibcus & Balta out of the selection picture.

Fawcett, injury rooted season barely played a VFL game, now up against 3 KPFs just drafted, Gray, & the current KPFs. Lynch gets fit, if Bauer plays tall forward.

The guys got just a little bit of competition MAYBE

Not sure why Richmond think we can make sonsie into a small forward.

The ridiculous thing and this is why some of us tear our hair out is because when Sonsie doesn't make the senior side the club will be playing him in the VFL midfield.

If you can't force your way into a midfield consisting of Baker, Dow and McAuliffe then midfield probably isn't for you and you need to find another role

Believe he is referring to last year when Sonsie couldn’t even break into our injury plagued pick a part midfield so he has little hope of finding a spot into one that is fully fit with more competition for spots from more talented rookies

I can see our midfield being a real strength in the years to come. Lalor, Smillie, McAuliffe all showing great signs. Hotton should compliment them nicely when he gets fit and we still have Taranto for a while yet.

I'm not here thinking he is better than others all I'm saying is I truly believe the club hasn't given him the best go at it. No doubt but
Mike Tyson dumbly smacked some North VFL player; rubbed out. Yze gives Dow the first crack. Kmac2 was better than Sonz in the VFL, & plays in the middle in the ones. Drafted that BB mid we've wanted forever.


Sonz gets 14 games under Yze, up forward. Lucky for him Mini didn't get the job.

With Baker, JG, Dusty, Shy, Pickett all OUT is all mid /forward rotations, he might get more mid time.
