I don’t know if they would, but why not?

As long as they’re still with a serious injury and a while away from serious training, then I don’t really care what country they go to tbh.

I’d only have an issue if they are able to do meaningful training within the time. Doesn’t really sound like they can.

I really did like him in the draft. Would’ve been happy with either Langford or Smillie at 6, but Melbourne took him unfortunately. Was worried about his speed, but we’ll see how that goes.

We’ll also see how Smillie and Lalor go. Haven’t been following preseason very closely, but I heard that Smillie has been showing a lot of promise

Broady is a ripper bloke and great person from a leadership perspective to have around the club, however, he is very average player.

Don't confuse good bloke with good player.

He has been carried by the likes of Grimes, Rance, Vlaustin, Astbury and co for his whole career. He gets soundly beaten one on one against bigger bodied key-positions guys and struggles against the smalls. His kicking is now serviceable, but it was horrible for years.

So a very average player finished 4th in the Jack Dyer Medal last year & has 4 top 10 finishes in the last 4 seasons.

2021 Grimes wins a JDM averaging 5.7 marks 13 disposals. Capt Grimes played on smalls a lot

2023 Broad 6.1 marks. 16 disposals....,Eq 9th in JDM

2024 round Grimes play very poorly, undisciplined

Definitely wanted Smills …no doubt about it…will be a gun for us in the next few years

Just thinking it Would have been good to snare Harvey later on…but he was always going to be picked up in the first 8 picks


Biggest thing about Langford is that he grew up being a mad tiger supporter

Will be interesting to see how that pans out
