I would like to see Astbury or Elton replace Batchelor. I like Batchelor but I think he should be an understudy for Chaplin (3rd tall role) and Astbury or Elton should assume the 2nd KPD role.

You can only go on track record and exposed form. Injury plagued and he looked like his lost his explosiveness. That's why the club were OK for him to talk to the lions in the trade period. That he wasn't snapped up by them says a lot.

Talking about it once after losing in the EF for the 3rd year in a row? I understand what they are trying to do when making it seem like a little thing so that the players are not psychologically scarred, but how do they ensure that they are not psychologically impacted already if they don't speak to them regularly about this to see what is going on and how they are faring?

I think there needs to be an emphasis on this actually. A breakdown of what went wrong and what they could do better as a group. Not only in a lecture-style way. In a practical way too. Of course, I am not saying for them to overdo it because that can be counterproductive, but it needs to be referenced much more than "once". I mean, it is the elephant in the room after all.

If it happens 3 times, then there is a good chance that the mistakes made are not as obvious to the playing group as it seems.

So I am with you on this. I think that a better response is to address it more rather than less given that this is the 3rd time this happened. You'd rather talk to your players, try to understand what is going on with them to have a greater picture of them, and guide them to the appropriate actions they need to take instead of letting this issue stew with them and leaving them to deal with it on their own.

I would suggest this has happened. You wouldn't just sweep it.
