Just visited the team list on WCE site, finally updated. Yeo and Jones named as defenders. (they did provide good drive out of the backline in a couple of games)
Trew and Ledwards the forgotten midfielders, Wafl workers?
SPS named as forward. (the new Junior?)
XON needs to step up in the middle this season..throw his weight around, he's a big unit.

I have plenty of hope for Edwards despite his lack of speed, seems he's still able to get separation from opponents despite it.
Edwards, Chesser, Hough, Bazzo, Williams, Culley, Ginbey, Hewett, Barnett, Burgiel, Long & Dewar (maybe Baker too but more speculative) is a good haul from the last 3 seasons.
Winder has the ability to be included in that group if he can find the application

Has that poise the old man has, rare to find someone at 20 with that gift.
He's not a small guy either, at 189 and 84 kg, he looks lean in photos but has a good strength about him.
His old man had guns for days as well, so he'll either beat out the competition for midfield spots, or offer solid depth.

I haven't been on edwards as big as most in the past. He has a few nice traits but more outside type player than balanced or inside. Him and Trew will be at the back of the line next year.

Reminds me a lot more of Sam Butler than his dad tbh.

Maybe some are unsure about him but I think Jack Williams is still a good prospect. He just needs to harden up his body and put on more size for the rigours of AFL footy.

We'll see, he's shown much more as an AFL prospect than I thought he had in him already but im still not certain he has the athletic ability for AFL level.

Seems to have decent skills for a big guy but hasn’t got a physically hardened body yet. Still kinda looks to be carrying a bit of puppy fat

Hopefully we have a decent run with injury so he gets an opportunity to provide a forward target for a halfway competitive midfield to aim at

Edwards is bigger than people think. Saw him jogging next to another player who is decent size and Edwards looked bigger.

Was a photo from 12 months ago. He may have slimmed down to help with OP but he isnt a smaller mid like Gaff. 189cm is Yeo's height -1cm.

He’s very young. But for a couple of weeks he would have been eligible for this years draft rather than when he was selected last year. Big guy, had a crap year having to play in Weagles but still did some good things. Something to work with there.

Im hoping things can click for Sheed. I don’t think he’s had a complete season from him. 2019 was just close to it. 2021 first half was quite good but then his second half was poor but it was said he was playing through injuries.

I think we have to admit that it will be a very engrossing year though.
Watching the older players trying to redeem 2022 and the younger players playing for game time. Can't wait for the season to begin.
If our Coach can introduce that "Synergy" he always goes on about it could be a very exciting year for us supporters.

It'll be an exciting season cos we haven't had 5 untried top 30 draft picks in a long time. Apart from Barnett who may take longer to get a game, it'll be interesting how they'll fit into the team since they have more chance playing in their natural positions since they aren't low draft picks that will just be fit into random positions (hopefully).
