We were frothing over Simpson this time last year too, Reid will play about as much first team footy.
Simpson can't find the pill, even in his draft year was a low possession player. We did give him games last year but he couldnt get involved often enough. Reid racks it up consistently. I think he is a better chance to get games this year than Simpson last year.

Erasmus and Brodie were earier picks than Bruce and can't get a game. If you're right he's either a huge chance for the rising star or we get smashed by injuries.
Reid doesn't have the size, but he has something not many of our players have and that's pure class. It won't happen, but I'd play him over Johnson in a heartbeat.

I'll be heading to Fridays training session.

Anyone wanting to go down to training tomorrow to get a look at our guy Shai bare in mind Cockburn Arc is going through construction at the moment.

You can't access via the Arc building currently; the only viewing spot is via the goals at the eastern end of the oval, bottom of Remembrance Av 👍

A few questions...

1) What time usually do the boys usually start training?
2) Where is the best place to watch the sessions with my Hugh Davies type skin?
3) Where is the best coffee to get beforehand? (Something better than Dome. And definitely NOT Starbucks)
4) Where is the best banh mi/lunch bar to check out after training?

Hey DT, as to where to watch refer to the below. They've set up a shed so you can watch whilst being more sun smart than our boy Hugh Davies

They're usually out there kicking the footy around and warming up about 9:30.

There's a cafe inside the Arc which I haven't been to since last year but the coffee is passable from memory 😊

I have picking up my partner at Cockburn station a few times a week.
I don't drink coffee.
I have found some good food places near by.
PappaRich has great Malaysian Foods. The best beef rendang I have had in Australia. Cafe Royal has cheap beer and nice food.
BEP Saigon is value for money as is the Thai restaurant.
The meat pies at Tony Ale Fruit and Veg are the best.

I don't think Reid will play this year, but he is certainly a chance in 2025 :)

If you don't mind a short drive I've heard the Bibra Lake Lunch Bar is one of the best Banh mi joints in Perth.

I love a good rendang! One of the most underrated Asian foods!
