Anyone who even considers picking Tyson Stengle is just flat out not good at this game. Pure small forward priced at 250k, absolutely terrible pick.

Former tigers Dan Butler says hi.
Made good cash 2 seasons back.
Was prob around the same starting price .

Mate, I started him then Roughy'd him back in late in the season. It was a bad time, a bad time....

To go with that Kent Cerra ...

So thoughts on Rachele .....who I have similar thoughts on

AFL practice match Collingwood v Hawthorn: New-look Magpies score heavily against the Hawks (Herald_Sun)

McRae and his head of strategy, Justin Leppitsch, were both assistant coaches to Damien Hardwick during Richmond’s premiership years of 2017, 2019 and 2020

The chip-chip short-kicking game of last year was nowhere to be seen

The big surprise was the way the Magpies’ forward line functioned like a well-oiled machine – something we have not been able to remark too often in recent years.

The smalls – headlined by Elliott, Jack Ginnivan, Trent Bianco and resting midfielders including Patrick Lipinski and Nick Daicos – got to the right spots, applied good pressure to lock the ball in and took their opportunities when they presented.

Jack Crisp was all class by foot through the middle, while a lean-looking Brodie Grundy was dominant in the ruck.
Taylor Adams and Patrick Lipinski also found plenty of the footy through the middle.

His presence down back meant Jack Crisp got a lot more midfield minutes than usual and that looks like an experiment worth continuing with based on his outstanding performance.

Former Bulldog Patrick Lipinski looks a shrewd pick up for the Pies and showed his ability in the clearances as well as pushing forward to kick a crafty goal.

Lipinski was the equal-leading possession winner for the Pies, alongside Taylor Adams.

Last year’s No.4 draft pick Nick Daicos warmed into the game nicely and won more than his fair share of the footy playing mostly onball.

Rachele been in and out of my team but only because he's cheaper.

If Stengle was 184k like Rachele, you'd consider him. At 250k it's a shocker of a pick. Especially considering how many options there are who will actually play SC friendly midfield or half back roles at around the same price.

Does any one know if Ben Keays played?
If so how did he go?

I'm hoping Arthur Jones gets a game Round 1 and we will know early. If he dosen't then we probably need to start with Rachele unless there are enough midpricers down forward as the rookie stocks don't look too good. DeKoning is a bench option at best the only other option might be Patrick McCartin.

Just ave ....lots of turnovers, which is sometimes a feature of his game ....wouldn't recommend for SC, particularly with Crouch coming back

No Fyfe Mundy to consider.

Mundy will be 37 in July I've seen he is going to play on a wing this year they need to look at youth now.

Thanx he does love to tackle so I was thinking of taking a chance, I'll be leaving him alone now
Poor disposal is the same thing that holds Zac Bailey back did you see him play has his disposal improved?

Opportunity is there. Outside of Brayshaw/Serong I don’t see much depth tuning through the middle.

He averaged 80 in 8 games in 2019 including being Sub in one game for 19 points. All the other games he had 20+ disposals @ 89 average worth the punt I think with DPP.

Role is key. As a forward he was shit. If he’s playing mid again (watch next weeks game) than he’s worth considering and could get close to those numbers you quoted.
