Re: Nettlefold "If you’ve got cultural problems ... you don't deliver what this group has"

nice. denial, right from the top. that puts everyone at that club at risk of harm.

one mild positive is, unlike the culture of the infamous Worst Coke generation, which left the impression it was allowed to fester until the limbs fell off, the Aints seem either too stupid or too naive to want to engage much in cover-ups, not at any level.

</insert semi-nude picture here>

I'd rather take a flag than a "mild positive" of not covering up bad behavior. That 2006 flag still feels pretty damn sweet to all those involved. A lot better than the Saints fans would be feeling after two losing GF's, and a hell of a lot better than your mob who were arse r*ped all afternoon in the biggest sham of a performance in Australian footballing history.

Re: St Kilda - Definition of irony

Sleeping pills are far more dangerous than Marijuana.
Sadly, Heath Ledger is a testimony to this.
Mixing sleeping pills with anything should be avoided, and the Saints administration got it right in treating this seriously.

seems to have woken them up...

So, Nettlefold is claiming that the Saints recent "success" is proof they couldn't possibly have a culture problem? Is Nettlefold new to football or something?

You know another one is coming, so which players do you think the next one will involve and what will be the incident? :D

Which part don't you get about these scandals ? they involve an Australian Rules Football team - it hurts the image of "our" game and to make light of things like this is pretty immature.

I'm an AFL fan first then my club next, I don't like to see these things make us look stupid...emphasis on "us" being AFL supporters.

The entire St Kilda squad.

Scenario: Ross Lyon wakes up in the middle of a "crack sack and back" waxing session after falling asleep during the team's attack strategy meeting. Riewoldt cries, claiming the others put him up to it, and Ross believes him. They go off for dinner together whilst the rest go round to the Tiprat's place for a spit roast.

Milne and Dawson, under the influence of drugs and alcohol "invite" an underage female back to their hotel room where a flurry of sex and nude pics ensue, mostly not involving the female. An aroused Jack Watts releases said shots to the media after hacking Gilberts computer.

Rinse & repeat.

POTY, oops sorry, just saw the word immature and laughed so hard that I thought I was elsewhere. Back to it ,then.

got a feeling they might try the monaghan angle next. the guy really broke new ground in terms of scandals, no doubt the saints will be keen to take on the challenge.

Absolute scum of an organisation. Should have their licence revoked. They clearly don't give a shit about anything other than money, sex and drugs.

You know what would be a real scandal for St Kilda, them winning the premiership
